Patch: Allow args with spaces
Hi, the first attached patch extends the argument parsing code to allow (shell like) spaces. A config like LABEL BIOSupdate KERNEL dmiselect.c32 APPEND "ESPRIMO P5925" "memdisk initrd=/dos/FSC-E5925.img raw" will result in args[]: ESPRIMO P5925 memdisk initrd=/dos/FSC-E5925.img raw instead of (current code): "ESPRIMO P5925" "memdisk

Post-installation setup script for CentOS 7 servers
Hi, I just sanded down the remaining edges of my CentOS 7 post-install configuration script and published it on a Github repository, along with some detailed instructions. * https://github.com/kikinovak/centos-setup Feel free to use it (and/or adapt it to your needs). Commandline utility to edit ID3 tags?
Hi, I'm running a webradio on our brandnew CentOS 5.1 database server. (The main purpose of this radio is fun, sure, but it's also a bit like a canary in a coalmine...) It's based on Icecast, MPD and NCMPC and works great. I'm configuring the server remotely via SSH, no X. Is there any commandline utility to edit ID3 tags? Cheers, Niki

No dual-boot, no prisoners, just 100% GNU/Linux :oD I managed to find the contents of the Outlook Express Mailboxes in some obscure subdirectory.

Use EPEL without redirection ?
Hi, Is there any way to deactivate the redirection to a mirror when using the third-party EPEL repository ? Our network uses a transparent HTTP/HTTPS proxy with a local AC. We can create exceptions for sites like centos.org or download.fedoraproject.org, but whenever we want to install a package from EPEL, the mirror redirection causes an error due to redirection. Any suggestions ? Niki --

Querying netgroup information
Hi I have been searching for commands to "debug" netgroup membership. I am using netgroups provided by ldap. I can do a ldap query but it seems a bit unwieldy to do. I have found a package on ubuntu called ng-utils https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/+source/ng-utils/0.7-1 which does what I require and compiles very easily. It contains two commands netgroup and innetgr to query netgroup

Adduser help
at http://wiki.openpbx.org/tiki-index.php?page=Easy+route+to+building+OpenPBX.org there is the following adduser command: adduser --no-create-home --ingroup openpbx --disabled-password --disabled-login openpbx This does NOT seem to be the right format for Centos. So far, using man, I have come up with; adduser -M -g openpbx What else do I need?

Yum updates packages for other arch too
Hi, I have the x86_64 arch on my server so therfore i expect that yum updates only x86_64 packages. With the last *yum update* i?ve noticed a strange behaviour while retrieving the needed packeges. CentOS-Base.repo baseurl commented out
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Weird, as all CentOS machines under my control are suddenly giving the baseurl of Base repo not found error since this morning. Could be that mirrorlist is leading but all other options I found online to debug the error message seem to indicate that (un)commenting should fix it.
