Delta RPMs (drpms) for CentOS-6 and CentOS-7
We are having issues with drpms on CentOS-6 i386 and x86_64 and on CentOS-7 x86_64. The technical issues sometimes cause us to have to rebuild all drpms over again .. and the time involved is very large.? Also storing the drpms and moving them around takes up a lot of space and bandwidth. We would like to remove delta rpms (drpms) from our CentOS-6 and CentOS-7 repositories. But before we do ,

Question around updates and drpms directory
Looking at the nice new 6.4 tree (thanks!!!) I see there are already a few updates. eg Packages/firefox-17.0.3-1.el6.centos.i686.rpm Packages/firefox-17.0.3-1.el6.centos.x86_64.rpm So far, so normal. These occur because of timing. That's not a problem; it's expected. What confuses me, though, is the drpms directory where there are 33 firefox drpm files compared to the 2 Packages,

Trivial exclude help
Hi list, Sorry for the exclude question... but I have been trying for hours to get this to work and am utterly baffled. I'm performing an archive transfer between hosts and wish to include anything in any directory named 'debug' or 'drpms' at any depth. I assumed this would be as simple as --exclude 'debug/***' --exclude 'drpms/***' but I still get

CentOS 5 and DRPM
Has anybody successfully implemented DRPMs on centos 5.x? I searched the net and I found a few indications that it is possible, but there is very little info how to do it. Just to be clear. With DRPMs i mean deltaRPMs. And with implementation i mean What yum plugins are necessary and what has to be done on the yum repository to make it work. suggestions for installing CentOS 5 via USB?
I'm having problems installing CentOS via a USB drive. First, I tried using Unetbootin, but with no avail. The 8MB netinstall doesn't work, and the big DVD image doesn't work either. http://lubi.sourceforge.net/unetbootin.html Then I tried this http://www.pendrivelinux.com/usb-centos-5-live-install-via-windows/ with a CentOS DVD file, and that did not work (just hangs). I tried

Hi. Show you how to install oVirt in FC11/FC12? I acted on instructions http://ovirt.et.redhat.com/install-instructions.html, but there were problems with the versions of the module locale (requires 2.0.4 and installed 2.0.5). WBR, Fyodor.

Accelerated video output with ffmpeg2theora 0.24
When I converted two files with ffmpeg2theora their duration changed shorter - they seem to play back with accelerated speed. When I play one of them with VLC, the video stops at 99 seconds but audio continues until 170 seconds. The other file is 120 seconds long but it is played back in 80 seconds. Here is ffmpeg2theora output: $ ffmpeg2theora --optimize --inputfps 25 -F 25 2002-05-23\ Juho\

Headless WINE (nulldrv, winetty)
I'm running a headless Linux installation (FC11) on Amazon EC2 and need to run some console-based (no window) 32-bit DOS executables... I've been running this fine for the past couple years on another installation (FC10) with v1.1.23, by setting the "TERM" environment variable to "xterm" and I believe it ran the "tty" graphics-driver and worked just great.

Is there a version of the pv_ops kernel that will do HVM and work with fc11? I have been failing miserably trying to get it to work. I am wanting to know what is the version of the pv_ops
