Probably this is due to operator error, The Recycle Bin in GNOME disappeared, for this CentOS 5.5 (32 bit) Desktop PC. The box is fully updated. Dropbox has an RPM for Fedora Core 9 (x86). I am running CentOS 5.4 on my Desktop, which I believe is based on Fedora Core 6. Are the libraries Fedora Core 9 uses substantially different than those CentOS 5.4 uses? I installed gFTP but apparently it does not handle the sFTP protocol. I also installed the FireFTP Add On for the Firefox browser, but when I tried to connect to the server, it says that I need putty-tools.
