[leaf-user] RE: CF Boot media creation
I'm home at last. I did a mixture of things. I downloaded DOS6.22 floppy
from putergeeks.com, extracted my old syslinux 1.75 (dos version) into the
same boot floppy and made my CF /dev/hda1 as suggested by Luis (Hail O
King - my saviour). Lo and behold it went thro' like a hot knife thro'
butter. syslinux did not complain at all. I did an xcopy /s of my D: (hard
disk) to my C:(CF) and

I know that is the proper way. Unfortunately, I'm stuck and am mad at myself
for that.

[leaf-user] RE: CF Boot media creation
Hi,
I had the same problem last week. I got it work when I
used an old syslinux (the one from Daschtein Utils).
I think that the problem is with newest version of
syslinux, but could get confirmation from the syslinux
group.

proposal: new DisableBanner client side option
hi all, we had quite a few requests recently so that SunSSH allowed
to hush a banner on client side when in command-mode only. The argument
usually is that the banner is mandatory due to legal reasons so first time
login users should see it but that it causes problems when ssh is used from
scripts after that. '-q' often seems not an option. RFC 4252 permits hushing
banner in section

[ANNOUNCE] xorg-server 1.19.99.904
Another batch of cleanups and fixes, mostly in glamor and DRI3.
At this point the only outstanding major feature for 1.20 that hasn't
landed yet is EGLStreams support for Xwayland. The patches require some
minor rebasing to account for per-window flips in Present, I'll post
that momentarily I suppose. I'm honestly of two minds about merging it,
the deafening silence of review feedback

OPENSSH REMOTE ROOT COMPROMISE ALL VERSIONS (fwd)
There has not been any mention of this, so..
I'm having hard time trying to figure out whether this is for real or just
a joke. (Anyway, I don't use those possibly vulnerable features myself.)
Any analysis yet?

Each time I run rsync it copies the same files even though I haven't
made any changes. I doesn't copy all the files each time, just the same
ones each time I run the command. I run rsync with the following command:
rsync --verbose --stats --recursive user@host::directory directory

Hello everybody,
I think my question has been asked before but I am posing it once again
since I need it. Is there any way to find the rank of a matrix in R or

DSA harmful for remote authentication to compromised hosts?
Hello!
I'd just like to run this by some people who are more familiar with
the RSA and DSA algorithms and their use within (Open)SSH.
I've been using OpenSSH happily with the assumption that using key-based
authentication (RSA or DSA public keys pushed to .ssh/authorized_keys on
remote hosts) provides a number of benefits, including an important
security-related one -- Logging in to a
