Package compilation woes on submission.
Hello, I am trying to submit a new package to CRAN. I had checked the packages with R-devel and R-release in windows 7 local and ubuntu 12.04 local. The package has a C file in src folder which successfully compiled in all the cases (there were few trivial warnings). I had submitted the package last week and was asked to resubmit with few changes in the description file. However upon

New-ish list of hardware phone vendors
This is a fairly large list of hardware phones, features, and URLs, with some vendors I've never heard of before on it. I suspect that any phone that doesn't explicitly say "SIP" is an H.323 phone. http://www.tmcnet.com/it/0403/0403sg.htm#sidebar2 JT

Sortable list with non ajax submission
I am trying to create a sortable list that is submitted not with an AJAX call but by a standard form submit button. Right now I have def reorder_group_members @group = Group.find(params[:id]) @group.group_members.each do |member| member.position = params[:memberlist].index(member.id.to_s) + 1 #I get a nil error for this line. It would seem that params[:memberlist] is not

Re: Newbie Questions - Grandstorm phones?
Thanks everyone for the input. After pricing everything we need out, it's not worth trying to get our old system to work, so I've pitched ditching everything and starting over. I'm very excited and hoping they'll go for it. Regardless, I'm going to throw a box together for my house, we have no home phone (just cell phones) so this'll be a great way of testing. All

Getting _eh_frame parser for llvm
Hi all, Not so long ago we have found ourselves in need of a robust _eh_frame parser. All we wanted is the ability to parse .eh_frame section emitted by LLVM's MCJIT. Considering this, LLVM would be a natural place for implementing such parser. Previous email thread about the issue (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/llvm-dev/Vb_VYU7Eo0k) showed some interest among the community. Folks

patch file submission: libshout sock.c
Hello icecast dev, Would like to resubmit a patch to libshout's sock.c that is needed for happy compilation on MacOSX. This is the libshout patch that fixes sock.c's dependency upon poll.h. It replaces the poll function, which isn't found in MacOSX, with the more universally unix friendly select() call. Apply as follows: * save the attached patch file into the directory above

re-submission of package after CRAN-pretest notes
It used to be the case that when I submitted a package and it gave notes or warnings in the CRAN checks, I was required to bump the package version before re-submission. I hope this is no longer the case.? I recently submitted a package that gave one fairly trivial NOTE, fixed that, and would like to re-submit. -Michael -- Michael Friendly Email: friendly AT yorku DOT ca Professor,

DHH asked for more documentation. Are those patches submitted indivdually per method or per module documented? Or are they submitted as some giant patch? Michael Genereux SimianCodex

FW: Package submission to CRAN
Please Note: Email below was bounced back (rejected by the Packages email list moderator), so please do not ask me to submit to r-packages@r-project.org<mailto:r-packages@r-project.org>. Members, I recently submitted my first package to the submissions ftp site on CRAN (7.3.09). The package has remained on the server since with no action? Do package review/updates occur monthly? something wrong in package submission procedure/website
Quite possibly, I should keep my big mouth shut and let the CRAN'ers answer this, but at face value, you submit a new version and are asked to confirm that problems with the previous version are fixed; isn't that as it should be? -pd On 08 Feb 2016, at 16:10 , Paul Johnson <pauljohn32 at gmail.com> wrote: > Yesterday I uploaded new rockchalk_1.8.97.
