Added new guide OCS Inventory NG to wiki
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, everyone. I added a new guide for installing and configuring the OCS Inventory NG server/client system on CentOS 5.x. Also, there's some brief explanations for integrating it into GLPI. I added it under non CentOS applications, since I think it fits in best there. Regards, Max - -- # find . "*imbecile" -exec sed -ie

Adding power devices support to Fusion Inventory
Dear Fusion Inventory fellows, I've been thinking about working on adding power devices knowledge to inventory systems for years. Following the last Ubuntu Developer Summit, I know have an "excuse" to do so: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/servercloud-p-cloud-power-management My below proposition is related to the above blueprint. Looking for an application to work with Centos
I'm looking for a application, and or ideas on how to .... Set up a web page that can be cataloged by search engines capturing all of the part numbers in a db. This page would be tied to a MySql or other Linux DB so that people can also do a basic on site part number search.. We have 150,000 different part numbers, we would like all 150,000 picked up by the different search engines.

Share users across domains
I know these systems work with AD, the problem is the migration, I don't think is easy to migrate 5000 accounts from current systems to new systems. I will need to learn the sintaxes of all these new systems and this would take huge time because I know nothing of samba4, or AD, or dovecot, or kerberos and the boss whants the emails for students for next month. We don't plan to

Any ETA on 5.4?
I can wait, I just have a project coming up and am planning. I remember seeing a post a couple of weeks back that RedHat 5.4 was released and at that time a couple of weeks was thrown out for Centos 5.4 being released. Are we still on schedule? Best way to backup and entire machine??
I want to mirror a Centos box, not having done this before, I'm looking for guidance. What is the best way to perform this task, I have a running webserver, a single external IP address to the website, and wanted to protect myself should the server go down. My though would be a mirror of that webserver, running in background, if the main server dies, then just move the mirror in place,

RAID MD10
I'm going to rebuild my system at home soon, and was planning to mirror two drives. However, I was just looking up something about RAID, and on wikipedia found some information about the Linux MD driver, and "near" and "far" RAID10. Anyone have some opinions about them? mark "or should that be how many opinions do folks have about them?"
