Seconded. I have an 8-extension, 2-POTS-line + VoIP Asterisk setup here

How Is Administrator Treated?
I have a couple of Samba 2.2 servers, in different locations, configured as
NT Domain Controllers, but I'm experiencing some problems with logging on
to the domains as Administrator in order to perform some administration
tasks, such as configuring antivirus software on workstations. I won't go
into the details here; I think the basic problem is my lack of
understanding of how the

Two Lines, Two Businesses
After tinkering with a hand-knitted extensions.conf based on "Asterisk -
TFOT", I've now set up a server with Asterisk@Home and am experimenting
with it. I'd appreciated any advice from the more experienced list members
about which way to proceed.
We (my wife and I) have two separate micro-businesses with two POTS lines
plus fax. I'd like to have inbound calls on the two

OpenSSH 3.7 released (fwd)
Since there never was an answer on the secureshell at securityfocus.com list
to this question, I thought I'd ask you guys on your own list and maybe
I'll even get an answer.
If the answer involves PAM in any way, then the most obvious question
becomes "what about IRIX, Tru64, or any other platforms whose login
procedure does not have PAM?".

Is OpenSSH vulnerable to the ZLIB problem or isn't it?
SSH.COM says their SSH2 is not vulnerable to the ZLIB problem even though
they use the library (details below). Can OpenSSH say the same thing?
In either case, it seems like there ought to be an openssh-unix-announce
message about what the situation is. I may have missed it, but I don't
believe there was one. Yes, openssh doesn't have its own copy of zlib
source but it would still be

Well, there's so few going right now that I'm showing 38 days to get the
DVD. My normal dnld from a mirror travels appx. 600Mb/sec.
I'll wait until most of the U.S. goes home before I give up and use the
normal download though.
Here's hoping...

Ideas for stopping ssh brute force attacks
just wanted to get some feedback from the community. Over the last few
days I have noticed my web server and email box have attempted to ssh'd to
using weird names like admin,appuser,nobody,etc.... None of these are
valid users. I know that I can block sshd all together with iptables but
that will not work for us. I did a little research on google and found
programs like sshguard and

SSH Client Hangs after logging in to SSHD
I'm not a ssh expert and I don't know if the log is good or bad, but I too am
running OpenSHH under OpenServer. I find that after I connect, the return key
has no effect unless I first type:
stty sane <Ctrl>j
If you've hit <ENTER> before that you must first press <Ctrl>j a couple of times
to clean out the buffer. After I type the above command, everything

New release of klibc?
It's been more than 4 years since the release of klibc 2.0.4, and more
than 2 years since the last commit to the git repository, although many
patches have been sent to the mailing list during that time. These
include essential fixes for x86_64 and mips with current toolchains.
Are you still intending to make further releases of klibc?
Would you be willing to add co-maintainers?
Ben.
