Tinn-R problem: unable to send code to R
The problem mentioned in the 06 Dec 2010 email below still occurs with Tinn-R (v.2.3.7.1) when highlighting a string of code, copying to the clipboard, and trying to send to Rgui via Shift+Ctrl+Q. I can copy 1 line of code to the clipboard and send it to Rgui with Shift+CTRL+Q. This fails with 2 or more lines of code, generating the error: Error in source(.trPaths[5], echo = TRUE,

Help with Tinn-R
I have just installed the latest versions of R and Tinn-R (running Windows XP prof.) R 2.11.0 Tinn-R version 2.3.5.2 Everything seems fine, except for the following: I usually do this: Open Tinn-R and click on the R icon to open R - this splits the screen into two parts horiozontally, with Tinn-R on top and R in the bottom window. My problem is simply this: By highlighting one line, and click the

SciViews and Tinn-R installation problem
Hello, I have just installed R 2.7.0 and re-installed SciViews 0.8-9 and Tinn-R 1.19.4.7 and seem to have broken something along the way as follows. I double-click on my current .RData file in the Windoze explorer, R Console and Tinn-R load successfully (?). I can list objects in my working directory with ls() but, when I attempt to refresh any list in the R explorer tab of the Tools child

ComRades, On a recent Windows XP system that I have to use at work, I installed Tinn-R 2.3.4.4 and R 2.10.1 When I mark-select a piece of code, say summary(x) written in Tinn-R and send it to the RGui using the send button, the RGui console instead of showing me my piece of code, it shows something like source(.trPaths[5], echo=FALSE, max.deparse.length=150) The code is executed fine but if

Upgrading to TINN - R 2.1.1.6
I know this has been addressed before, but I'm still confused by the solution. When running TINN - R (ver 2.1.1.6) with R (2.8.0) I have lost the functionality of TINN-R It returns an error source(.trPaths[5], echo=TRUE, max.deparse.length=150) I modified the RProfile.site file as follows: options(pager="interal") .trPaths=c( 'C:/Documents and

rprofile.site
Hi all, i just installed R 2.12.1 and Tinn-R 2.3.7.1. My OS is Windows 7 32bit. Here is my question: Do I have to execute the rprofile.site manually every time I start a R/Tinn-R session? Because it seems that way. Here is the error code I receive after sending "selection(echo=TRUE): source(.trPaths[5], echo=TRUE, max.deparse.length=150) It doesn't do that after I configure

Tinn-R and R problem
Dear r-users,   Actually, this is not a big problem, however it is a bit annoying.  Everytime I want to use Tinn-R and R. I have to do this step first before I can excute a set of R codes:   R--> configure --> temporarily (current session)   if not it will give this message:   > .trPaths <- paste(paste(Sys.getenv('APPDATA'), '\\Tinn-R\\tmp\\', sep=''),

Tinn-R and DDE
Hi folks, I'm trying to get these "call-tip" things to work in Tinn-R. I expect them to be somewhat like Microsoft's Intellisense? Anyways, I copy-pasted the recommended Rprofile.site and adjusted it to fit the location of my Tinn-R.exe... It looks like this: ##=============================================================== ## Tinn-R: necessary packages and functions ## Tinn-R:

Dear R helpers, I want to know about the implications of changing the max..deparse.length parameter in tinn-R. I use tinn-R as my text editor. I had a problem recently in reading in a?statement that ran for many lines.. I was trying to recode some factors with long names into short ones. I got the following error message : >
