backport upstream pygrub fixes to allow booting squeeze default install?
Hi Bastian,
I'd like to propose backporting the following changesets from upstream
xen-unstable into the xen-3 package. With these it is possible to boot a
default installation of Squeeze (using d-i) in a domU using pygrub.
20480:c2c2e67b8198 pygrub: if default entry is "saved" then use first entry.
20481:8f4e0adc2b3b pygrub: expands tabs before displaying menus.

Bug#681376: Xen hypervisor package not upgraded on dist-upgrade Squeeze to Wheezy
Package: src:xen
Severity: important
Version: 4.1.3~rc1+hg-20120614.a9c0a89c08f2-2
I recently upgrade from Squeeze to Wheezy on a system which had the
xen-linux-system-686-pae metapackage (one of two which Provides:
xen-linux-system). After dist-upgrade I had the new xen-utils-common and
xenstore-utils (and a few others) but not the xen-utils-4.1 or

Bug#591456: Further effects of missing hotplugpath.sh [Re: squeeze: xen 4.0.1-2 + drbd8-utils: block-drbd script does no longer work?!]
FYI: This bug also breaks user supplied scripts (/etc/xen/scripts/block-*)
that are needed to handle block device mounting other than "phy:" and "file:"
disks.
See attached email from debian-user mailing list.

Re: pvusb drivers for pvops 2.6.32.x kernel
Hello,
Jeremy: See the included patch. If it''s OK it''d be nice
to get it into xen/stable-2.6.32.x branch.
Thanks Nathanael!

Boot failure with squeeze 4.0 hypervisor, fixed with later 4.0-testing
Hi,
I have a machine that was previously running the lenny-packaged
hypervisor. I upgraded it to squeeze recently and it failed to
complete a boot of the dom0 kernel.
I reported this on xen-devel? and was advised to try building a
hypervisor from the tip of 4.0-testing. I did this and this seems to
work for me.
I'm guessing that since wheezy will be released soon there is little
interest in

Bug#701744: xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64: also seeing this problem on 4.0.1-5.8
Package: xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64
Version: 4.0.1-5.8
Severity: critical
We're seeing this too on 4.0.1-5.8, and it's causing major problems.
Xen on Debian Squeeze is basically unusable with the latest packages. Is a
fixed package in sight?
Thanks,
Ward.
