Freeze with 2.6.32.19 and xen-4.0.1rc5
Hi, i have big trouble with a Debian Lenny dom0 and latest kernel 2.6.32.19 with xen-4.0.1rc5. Due some reason the system freezes from time to time. I used kernel 2.6.31.9 with xen-3.4.2 before. The machine doesn''t write anything to serial console so there are no errors or something like that. Perhaps there is something to see from the logs ... Hardware Board: Intel DQ45CB CPU:

Debian Squeeze hangs with kernel 2.6.32-5-xen-686
Hi all! After upgrading to Squeeze, I am watching a Xen VMHost that after a while it hangs. This did not happen when I was using Xen with Debian Lenny (in this case as with Squeeze, the Xen components are from Debian repositories). In each case I connected a keyboard and monitor to the computer and the screen remained black without answering any key. This problem seems to also affect domUs,

Xen 4.2.1 boot failure with IOMMU enabled
Hi all I already posted about this problem on xen-users some time ago (http://markmail.org/message/sbgtyjqh6bzmqx4s) but I couldn''t resolve my problem using help from people on xen-users, so I''m posting here . I have a problem with enabling IOMMU on Xen 4.2.1. When I enable it in BIOS and in grub.conf using iommu=1 kernel option, my machine cannot boot. I get a following error

[BUG] Problem Booting Xen 4.0.1 on 2.6.32.26/27
Hello, I''m attempting to boot Xen 4.0.1 on a SuperMicro H8DGi-F motherboard and having not much luck. I can boot the 2.6.32.26 (or .27) kernels alone, but when I add Xen into the mix, I get consistent boot failure. I''ve tried Xen 4.0.1-release, 4.0.2-rc1-pre and 4.0.2-rc2-pre, all get the same failure. xen/next-2.6.37 works and boots great, but since netback isn''t

need to load uhci_hcd with acpi=off
Dear all, I have running a DOM-0 on debian squeeze with the most recent kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64 #1 SMP On 30% of all reboots the system hangs and only a reset helps. acpi=off as an additional kernel parameter solves this problem, but the usb keyboard of the installed ip-kvm is not found then. with acpi=off Ican find a lot stuff like: [ 7.098747] uhci_hcd 0000:00:1d.2: UHCI Host

hardware isues
I have a broadcom bcm5722 and a dual intel pro/1000 pt nic in a dell t110. The setup sees the cards and i put them into automatic mode. After the install no cards are detected at all. Astaro 8.01 detects and utilizes all of these cards just fine. I have also tried ubuntu server 10.04 lts and they work fine. I'm curious if this is a bug with Centos 6?

Package: xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64 Version: 4.0.1-4 Severity: normal Tags: squeeze When the monitor is being restored from power saving mode via DPMS, X will lock up/restart. This only occurs when running Xen hypervisor. Running just 2.6.32-5 -xen-amd64 doesn't produce this effect.
