Xen 3.0.3 for Etch
Hi folks Upstream forked a 3.0.3 tree a week ago. I hope they will release it in the next two weeks. I think it will be a good idea to release this with Etch. This may be also a good target as RHEL5 will also release with Linux 2.6.18 (we use their xen patch for the kernel already) and Xen 3.0.3. My current plan is: - Upload 3.0.3-testing with version 3.0.3~rc1+hg$revision and abi 3.0.3-rc1. -

Mouse movement only in some directions
Hi, my mouse doesn't work correctly in many games (not all). I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 and the wine1.3 (from the launchpad package). This concerns Need for Speed 2, Star Trek Bridge Commander and some others. In Star Trek Bridge Commander the mouse doesn't seem to have a right x-axis and I'm not able to click on anything. Using the Keyboard to move the cursor won't do as well. In

Xbox 1 gamepad not detected with Star Trek Online game
Hello, I am having a problem with Star Trek Online game. I am running this game on an Archlinux x86_64 system with wine 1.5.3. Recently I decided to try playing this game with one of my old but still working xbox 1 gamepads. For that purpose, I installed the xboxdrv (the userspace driver for xbox 360 and 1 gamepads) and after running xboxdrv with the command xboxdrv --silent --trigger-as-button, I

I'm trying to use it for games (mostly win-2000) like Star Wars battlegrounds, Descent 3, Star Trek Armada 2 and Battlezone 2. My Linux distro is Fedora Core 3. Echo Cancellation
Hello, I am testing speex 1.1.6's echo canceller. I am using testecho.c, with a few modifications to get it to run on Windows. My problem is that I am unable to get the echo cancellation to work correctly. I am working on an audio conferencing software, and one issue we have is sometimes the microphone picks up what is being played through the headset, resulting in an echo of the other

Can someone explain why smbmount under Samba-2.0.3 (compiled under GNU/Linux Slackware, kernel 2.2.5, egcc 2.90.29) compiles smbmount, however, when I run smbmount, it's really smbclient? If I can't use smbmount, then I can't mount my NT server. smbsh isn't worth crap, it always segfaults on me. I'm running libc5.5.46. Can anyone help me? "There are 3 things to remember

successful ATI card for WINE gaming?
Is there current or semi-current ATI video card that people are having good luck with for video games through WINE? I'm going to need a new card soon and we have had a long run of bad luck with the quality of Nvidia cards so I would like to give ATI a try. I know the driver improvements for Linux have been slow to arrive, but if anyone has a card they can recommend it would give me a

Getting printer into w2k
I'm ready to take w2k and Bill Grates and hang them up by their balls. Under Win98SE, it is easy to add a network printer attached to Samba. But under w2k, it refuses to do it. I've tried two ways to get the damn thing installed to the net and it fails. First I did the route of adding a network printer. It browsed and found my \\MRVIDEO\lp printer. It also found \\MRVIDEO\scroll,
