Preventing DomU corruption in case of Split-Brain of heartbeat
Hi Xen-Users!
We run an large HA XEN system based on heartbeat2.
Storage base is an infiniband storage cluster exporting iSCSI devices
to the frontend HA XEN Machines. The iSCSI devices are used as pysical
devices
for the domUs using the block-iscsi mechanism (by the way thanks for
this cool script).
Recently we had a split brain in our heartbeat system. This causes both
of our XEN servers to

Iser support for XEN
Hi Xen-Users!
I ask for the infiniband support of the xen hypervisor as describet in
the following papers
http://www.openfabrics.org/archives/spring2007sonoma/Monday%20April%2030/Xiong%20OFA-Sonoma-2007-04-30-SoftIB.ppt
and
http://www.*xen*.org/files/*Xen*_RDMA_Voltaire_YHaviv.pdf
The papers read that a direct infiniband support is possible to
circumvent the dom0 to access infiniband devices

[XCP] Strange bug this avaible memory for guests
I got really strange situation with memory on host:
xe host-list params=memory-free
memory-free ( RO) : 10305536
(10Mb)
xe host-compute-free-memory
3147059200
(3Gb)
A huge difference! And xentop show different numbers too!
I will keep this host online "as is" and I am ready to provide information for debbugging or perform needed actions.

HTB problem...
Hi folks.
Let''s say I would like to make some bandwidth control on my network
using HTB. I have 2 clients:
PC1: 192.168.100.2
PC2: 192.168.100.3
Server:
192.168.100.1
This has 2 NIC''s eth1 is local and eth2 is connected to the internet.
It could be nice to have a script, where you could specify, how much
bandwidth you want for a specific host on a network, like, PC1 has

Re: Poor performance running WinXP x86 hvm underCentOS5.1x64 with xen3.1
I found on some CPUs an ACPI based HVM chews up a lot of CPU time versuses an APIC HVM, so in Windows I would change the computer type in device manager to "Standard PC" and disable acpi in the domain config.
