More details : I noticed that every start of xend is adding the POSTROUTING masquerade iptables rule, and nothing is done at stop time. Dead keys on Wine
Hello, I use wine (release 20010824) for Lotus Notes R5 and sometimes Winzip. It works fine with some customizations and in desktop mode instead of managed window mode. My problem is that I am French and I cannot use dead keys which is very annoying with french language. For example a 'e' with a circumflex accent is usually obtained by typing successively '^' and 'e'. In

several Filled.contour plots on the same device...
hello - a question about filled.contour plots, for which i haven't found a response in previous posts - sorry if already treated. i'd like to draw several filled.contour plots (that is, maps) on the same device (a postscript file, actually). I know about layout(matrix) , split.screen or par(mfrow) : it works well for simple plots, but with filled.contour plots, i get several pages

vmx+ssh conversion failure -- read failed: would block
Hi, I noticed some issues with the ssh transport mode where the virt-v2v would fail because of issue with libssh2. I see a lot of following errors before the conversion terminates: > commandrvf: /usr/sbin/update-initramfs -v -c -k 4.9.0-4-amd64 > read failed: would block (libssh2 error code: -37, sftp error code: 0) > /usr/sbin/mkinitramfs: 265: /usr/sbin/mkinitramfs: dirname: Exec

TR: problem with ecdf : "missing C_R_approxfun" message
Hi again, this is a follow-up of my previous post : I've noticed that > attr(first.list[[1]]$size.ecdf,"call") gives ecdf(test.moms[, "m.pxs"]) and that there is no "test.moms" field in my records (a local variable named test.moms was used inside a function, but it was stored under another name in the list, outside the function) May this be the answer (and

Missing functionality in Blowfish for crypt(3)
The blowfish crypt(3) mechanism supports the use of a "cost value" for password encryption. The cost value is encoded into the encrypted password that is stored in master.passwd. On OpenBSD, this cost value can be set in login.conf. FreeBSD does not currently support the cost value. The cost value is the base-2 logarithm of the number of rounds of encryption to use so

Re: 2.2.7 compile error using --with-acl-support
If you are using the debian/rules from apt-get or the source tarball, you need to not only include --with-acl-support in debian/rules, you also need to vi debian/config.cache --> replace "ac_cv_header_sys_acl_h=${ac_cv_header_sys_acl_h=no}" with "ac_cv_header_sys_acl_h=${ac_cv_header_sys_acl_h=yes}" This will allow it to compile. Unfortunately, for me,

Fwd: Reh Hat ipchains tricks
Hi Raymond, I also struggled 3 days to set up a direct connection between a RH7.3 box and a WinME box with a crossover cable for experiment and met with frustration. The setup of WinME box has no problem and it can connect to other Win boxes for file sharing. IP Address RH7.3 192.168.0.1 WinME 192.168.0.2 Ping started connecting but both boxes can't see each another. I also doubt
