DNS resolutions is not working in a Solaris 10 DomU
Hi, I found a problem with the DNS resolution in a Solaris 10 DomU. The Test Environment was: I installed the Xen bfu on top of Solaris snv43 and booted the Dom0 with Solaris. Then I installed and booted a Solaris 10 DomU. In the Solaris 10 Dom0 the DNS resolution works; in the Solaris 10 DomU the DNS resolution does not work as expected: Inside the Solaris 10 DomU I can''t use

casper-rw and PXE
Hallo, syslinux, I'm working with an USB stick and an *.iso image. On an USB stick I can use "casper-rw" and "home-rw" for persistent directories/files. Under PXE I haven't yet found a similar option. Is that a syslinux-/pxelinux problem, or is that a "casper" problem? Example: USB stick, part of "isolinux.cfg": label desinfect menu label

Thanks I let GParted create the file system. It was done on a rescue disk of Ubuntu 12.04 (GParted 0.11.0) I think that the problem is in my command line. Interesting article about punching holes in firewalls...
I ran across an interesting article (http://www.heise-security.co.uk/articles/print/82481) (1) that I think any and all firewall administrators should take a few moments to read. I personally have known that using "-m state --state ESTABLISHED,RELATED" was not the most secure thing to use for returning traffic. Namely this will allow you to make a valid connection to a web server,

Determine from which device syslinux booted from
The RAW nature of Disk Imager fails to leverage the unique intentions of UUID to surmount the problems of multiple bootable drives in the same system for purposes of knowing which one you actually booted from and should continue to use. Determine from which device syslinux booted from
Then again, I suppose you could have a script in your init that detects when it has been booted from a *special* UUID. In such cases it goes to the first instance of a volume with that *special* UUID and re-writes it to a genuine UUID, as well as updates the syslinux configs on the volume. You could then create your seed image with that *special* UUID and then even an XP user could write it to a
