Hello, We [the Debian Xen package team] are currently working on Xen packages, and are planning to include them into Debian. A current issue in Xen, is the libc problem. From the Xen wiki [1]: "Xen uses segmentation to provide protection of the memory used for the hypervisor. This results in some performance issues since wrap-around segments as used by glibc need expensive extra handling.

check_hotplug fails on one of my machines running ubunto 4.10 "Warty Warhog", due to misparsing the udevinfo version string. The problem is caused by an old version of sed that does not appreciate the regexp. This patch fixes it, and also works on debian unstable and SLES9SP2. Please apply... I tried to install alsa 1.0.19 on centos 5.3 64 - did not work - compile errors. I need to re-install alsa-lib and alsa-util . I dont want to do rpm -e first on those packages as dependcy is crazy. I know they were installed (rpm -qa | grep alsa tells me so) I just want to re-install ? How do I do that? Thanks, Jerry
