DNS frustration
I'm getting fed up with the whole DNS scenario with Samba4. I'm literally
about to go insane. I've spent about 60 hours in the last two weeks and I
can't seem to figure out a solution that meets my requirements. So what
are my requirements?
* A Samba4 AD domain.
* A DHCP server for approx 100 windows clients/devices
* A DNS server whose forward and reverse zones get updated when

Mailer failure: ArgumentError: A sender (Return-Path, Sender or From) required to send a message
I have two mailer procedures in the same app and same mailer (Rails
3.1/1.9.2). The first one fails with the message below, the second works
fine. Both these results are through irb. Anyone have an idea as to why?
Also, in my application.rb I do have: ActionMailer::Base.default :from =>
"WaveLineup <system-+T6PWOEcvEy41k5uCYKmRQ@public.gmane.org>" defined.

,Re: Samba and ufw
Louis,
Tried the rules you suggested:
These work. I think that rules out any Windows problems.
ufw insert 1 allow in on enp2s5 from 192.168.254.15 to 192.168.254.39
ufw insert 2 allow in on enp2s5 from 192.168.254.39 to 192.168.254.15
These do not work.
ufw insert 1 allow in on enp2s5 proto tcp from 192.168.254.0/24 to 192.168.254.39 port 139,445
ufw insert 2 allow in on enp2s5 proto udp from

Problem (mis-configuration?) with Milter-Sender (v0.62) GreyListRejectCount...
Hi, I''m having a problem with Milter-Sender (v0.62) in the fact that I''m not able to tune the GreyListRejectCount the way that I want to. Namely I''m having a problem setting the GreyListRejectCount to any value higher than a single digit, or at least that''s what I think is happening. I''ve been ""fighting this problem for a while on my server

ActionMailer and Sender validation frameworks ( DKIM or SPF )
What''s the directors'' take on ading DKIM or SPF functionality into
ActionMailer. Is that a function that is better addressed via a
plugin, or would an extension or a monkeypatch of this class be an
appropriate avenue of pursuit?

How to set the SMSC sender = VoIP provider 10-digit #
I have a VoIP provider that terminates to a PSTN 10-digit number. I
want to be able to send/receive SMS messages that appear to be from
the 10-digit number that my VoIP provider gives me.
I am currently integrating Asterisk with Kannel and it works great.
Unfortunately, my mobile phone provider Cingular, doesn't allow me to
alter my number when I send out SMS messages. Or at least

Over-quota bounces seeming to lack sender
We're seeing an issue with 1.2.12 where over-quota rejection messages
are appearing in the logs with <> as the sender. The sender of the
original message sees the appropriate sender (postmaster@) on the
rejection, but as the message makes its way through the postfix/amavis
chain, I can see that the sender address is missing.
