Missing/Wrong ignore.d for pureftp
Dear logcheck Team,
sorry for choosing the direct contact I don't know if it's the correct
way.
I am using logcheck on a webserver where pureftp is installed for upload
of content. Logcheck is working fine except for one ignore.d rule
regarding the logout messages from pureftp.
Logcheck is reporting lots (an I mean lots) of messages from the
following type:

Samba local user without /etc/passwd
Hi Gionatan,
You can have user only declared into tdb at least when samba is acting as
domain controller. In that case this user become also a system user as
domain users purpose is to be system users, also used for file sharing.
Now if you have a Samba acting as file server and only file server,
retrieving its system users from winbind and /etc/passwd you can use any of
these users to add them

[LLVMdev] Recharging the batteries
Hi,
I've noticed that http://llvm.org/status/ hasn't been updated for a while,
so
I tought that some of you might find the following information interesting
and/or encouraging...
For benchmarking the stuff I'm working on I needed to compile a number
of open-source packages. The settings I used:
AS=llvm-as
lLD=llvm-ld
AR=llvm-ar
CXX=llvm-g++
CC=llvm-gcc

Bug#309772: please add ignore lines for autossh
Package: logcheck-database
Severity: wishlist
Hi!
if autossh debug is enabled it logs to syslog, thus the messages go thru
logcheck, messages are in this form
May 19 14:02:55 sagara autossh[1909]: port set to 0, monitoring disabled
so this is the ignore line
^\w{3} [ :0-9]{11} [._[:alnum:]-]+ autossh\[[0-9]+\]: .*$

Need apache ftp help please
System = CentOS / Apache 2.0 / HTML files location = /var/www/html
Nat'd IP - ports 80, 20, 21 already opened & routed to internal ip.
I desperately need the quick & dirty solution.
I need a setup where one user can ftp from another desktop (windows) to
upload new website files. I currently have CuteFTP, but will use anything
needed at this point.
I need to try to test this today.

The rule for SSH ignoring "Bad protocol version identification" assumes there are no single quotes
