Adding power devices support to Fusion Inventory
Dear Fusion Inventory fellows,
I've been thinking about working on adding power devices knowledge to
inventory systems for years.
Following the last Ubuntu Developer Summit, I know have an "excuse" to do
so:
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/servercloud-p-cloud-power-management
My below proposition is related to the above blueprint. So please keep in
mind that the

Added new guide OCS Inventory NG to wiki
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hi, everyone.
I added a new guide for installing and configuring the OCS Inventory NG
server/client system on CentOS 5.x. Also, there's some brief
explanations for integrating it into GLPI.
I added it under non CentOS applications, since I think it fits in best
there.

Max

OT: open source inventory system with invoicing and serial no tracking
Dear All,
Sorry, cause this is OT.
I am asking this for my client, they hope to find a simple open source
web base software with invoicing and serial no tracking, preferably if
can generate continuous serial no by its own.
Thanks in advance.

Trouble Ticket System
Hi,
Last year, I tried to installed and evaluate the following OSS web base trouble ticketing system. This is for me to track history on our IT related issues. Those that I tried are the PHP Ticket, DanPHPSupport, Epix Power Support, ruQueue, Ticket Express, OTRS, PMOS Help Desk and eTicket. From those, PMOS and eTicket are my top picks. I have problem installing OTRS the last time, so I am

Asterisk, OCS and Caller-ID
Hello Everyone,
We've connected OCS to Asterisk via OpenSips, and the voice functionality is working fine. I was wondering if anyone out there who has implemented a similar system would be willing to share any information on how they have implemented this, specifically with regards to URI numbering on the OCS side. So far, we've done this:
1. Extensions in * are 4-digit, and the

Anyone able to get attachment_fu (s3) working with OCS Solutions?
Since OCS seems to be a popular host, I''m wondering if anyone has
gotten attachment_fu working on their shared enviroment using s3 as
storage.

RTP over TCP
Hi List,
i have to put an * between two other SIP gateways and due to some
circumstances, i have to use sip over tcp. With 1.6.2.6 this is working
fine: sip gw A (deverto4) sends the call, i hand it over to sip gw B
(ocs) and that's about it. In the other direction however (ocs -> me ->
deverto4) the call setup is complete but there is no audio.
I can see the audio in the form of

redhat-lsb
I've noticed that some systems don't have redhat-lsb or even
redhat-lsb-core installed and as a side effect, the ocsinventory agent
reports them as 'linux' instead of Centos with the release version.
Also, where it is installed and ocsinventory does pick up the name, it
doesn't include Centos (pre-7.x) in the 'all Linux' grouping because
the name is just CentOS and

Looking for an application that simplifies tracking installed packages.
Hi,
As the number of hosts increases, it's getting harder to keep track of what packages have been installed on each host using yum or rpm.
So I am wondering if there's an existing application that helps you keep track of what packages installed on each host. Thanks.

I have a puppet master install which uses puppetdb. I also have puppet
dashboard installed with the inventory service running. I want multiple
puppet masters using a single puppetDB server. Puppetdb is installed on
separate vm.
How can I get the dashboard inventory to use the puppetdb server to get the
inventory records? Where do I configure the dashboard inventory so it uses
puppetdb?

RPGWO - no item images in inventory tab
RPG World Online is a 2d mmorpg, which was coded in Visual Basic. Therefore it requires the VB60 runtime to install and run. The most obvious bug is, that most of the item images in the inventory tab are not being displayed correctly or not at all. Thou while clicking on one of the inventory space holders which should contain an item, we get a name of the item displayed and items can be used
