Tecnoware ERA LCD (UPSilon 2000) communication problem
Hi to everyone! I'm posting here after digging around the nut-upsuser and nut-upsdev mailing list, hoping I didn't miss something important. I'm trying to make my ups working with nut: it's a Tecnoware ERA LCD 0.85 which uses the so-hated UPSilon 2000 software to connect via usb. Personally I checked and seems that this junk software only works from windows, I'm trying to

[blazer_usb] Support for TECNOWARE ERA LCD (FGCERALCD0K85)
Hi to all and happy new year! I'm writing here as I'm trying to get nut supporting the UPS in the subject; I didn't check well before buying and nowI discovered this is kinda bad hardware (it doesn't have a valid USB id, it just reports 0000:0001 and linux support doesn't really work as they stated), but before changing it I wanted to try to find a solution to get it work with

Problem with blazer_usb and 0001:0000 device
I have Tecnoware EcoStrip 1100VA UPS which unfortunately uses Upsilon 2000 software. Their Linux software does not work but Windows version does so I made pcap file of the usb traffic with Wireshark available at http://www.dumbot.net/problems/EcoSrip1100VA.pcap I've read many posts on problems with these devices and tried all variations available with the blazer_usb driver without any luck.

Sweex PP200 650VA UPS - Success report
Dear Charles and team Just thought to share my findings getting a Sweex PP200 650VA UPS working with NUT (I didn't see this particular model listed on the HCL.) I picked-up one of these units quite cheaply at a Maplins store (before the chain closed-down) as a second UPS for my home/office - the first being an old Zigor Ebro650 - a long story for another post... NUT v2.7.4_7 is running

Error in eco-model
Hello, I am working on a paper of ecological modelling in R. I have made a Lotka Volterra model for tree animal species. I was trying to get the model in R but there are some errors. Since i am not so experienced with R i can't find the bugs in my script. I hope if there is someone who can help me handle this problem. From RailsConf: New Open Source Gems to manage large Rails "eco-systems"
Dear All - At the end of our RailsConf Speech on how we built a maintainable yet complex rails system (slides here: http://en.oreilly.com/rails2010/public/schedule/detail/14302), there was a large demand for us to open source our methods. As such, we are pleased to announce eco_apps 0.1. (http:// www.github.com/idapted/eco_apps) What it does: eco_apps allow you to develop an application

NUT `ups.status` values and ECO mode
Hello all, During discussions in several recent tickets, I've (re?)discovered that NUT codebase is not overly consistent with use of status names (e.g. `!OL` instead of `OB` in some cases), and we seem to lack a consistent approach to "ECO mode" as well (whatever vendors might mena by that, what NUT reflects it as and whether/how it shows up in the status or can be or not be

creating a world map of eco-climatic zones
Hello R users: I would like to produce a world map with countries colored according to whether they fall into one of 7 eco-climatic zones. For simplicity, each country is allocated to exactly 1 eco-climatic zone. For this purpose I have looked at the map and mapdata packages, which contain world maps composed of polygons (1 for each country, it seems). Each of the polygons can be referred to by a

Sprockets, JST, Eco and escaping
While it was a good move from Rails part to escape ERB <%= %> tags by default, it doesn''t seem to happen to Sprockets as well. The strange bit is that according to Sprockets documentation, it would be just a matter of naming your template as .jst.eco to enable Eco: https://github.com/sstephenson/sprockets#javascript-templating-with-ejs-and-eco Then, extracted from Eco
