ORVALDI 650/750/900SP.
hi, i've bought a 750VA orvaldi ups http://en.orvaldi.com/index.php/en/product_catalog/product_view/11/162 which holds my hardware (wifi router, cable modem, quad-core with raid and lcd monitor) for ~15 minutes. pretty nice result for a cheap (~57 euro) home ups. in fact, the vendor software for linux is very old (e.g. requires ancient redhat with qt2), requires db9 port while shipped

Unsupported UPS Orvaldi 520PL?
Hello, I am new to UPS stuff, please be patient with me ;-) Archlinux i686, kernel 3.0-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT. nut 2.6.1 installed from source via Arch's AUR repository. Mother board GA D525TUD with two serial ports, both enabled in BIOS. I got some old Orvaldi 520 PL UPS [1], which is supposed to be supported by the vendor [2] with sw called UPSmart. The statically compiled i386 binary ran

Problems with Unitek Alpha 1000 Ps
Hello to all list members, I'm trying to make my UPS work with nut-2.2.2 (using Debian Testing, but compiled from source code) for a week ago, with not success. It's a Unitek Alpha 1000Ps, and I supossed it would work with megatec_usb driver, as other Unitek models. It has an USB interface, and when I plug it into my system I've got this message: chopito:/home/jordi# dmesg | tail

Fwd: Data stale error after short while
> We need to make sure this isn't something vm-related I suspect that this is definitely vm related now. I've tried Ubuntu server 10.10 as you suggested, and also Debian wheezy and both do the same thing. I saw in another thread that the author of the .vib of nut for ESXi is on this mailer - hopefully he can shed some light on what's happening. I would even be happy if I can

Fwd: Data stale error after short while
> Hope this helps. It did - thanks! I managed to hack around a bit earlier and did produce the driver binary but thought I would try from fresh with your steps and got the binary. Unfortunately the problem is still there... after a while connection is lost, updates stop, and upsc reports stale data. Log attached. What I'm thinking now is that I should run a cron job that regularly

Adding device: EitanVT650 to udev nut-usbups.rules?
Hi, I have a UPS device that seems to work fine with the blazer_usb driver. (I have guessed the driver by googling up the "Product" usb string 010937). However, it does not appear in the supported list, and I had to manually add a udev rule for granting access to the 'nut' user. Would be nice if the info I provide below could be used to help the project/future users to

Fwd: Data stale error after short while
mmh.. I looked quickly at the logs: - from time to time some character is swapped with something other (just like in the 'F' reply of your previous logs), but this shouldn't be a big problem; - then, suddenly, the queries timeout (just like when you relaunch the driver after a stale) - this is the problem. We need to make sure this isn't something vm-related (if so, having almost

Data stale error after short while

Need help with Unitek Alpha 1200sx.
Hi, I'm new to NUT. I've installed Fedora 8 and NUt along with it. I'm now having a go at getting my Unitek Alpha 1200sx UPS to work and shutdown the box automatically. I know this isn't officially supported but I'm trying my luck... I've seen that other Unitek UPSs use the 'megatec' driver however I'm unsure whether this will do the trick. My UPS comes with a

Asterisk and V.22bis
Hi, I would like to send and receive data in Asterisk with a V.22bis (2400bps) software modem on a SIP or IAX channel. From research so far, it looks like IAXmodem will only support fax (no data support). The spandsp docs do mention V.22bis modem module, but I have not been able to find anything on how it might be used in Asterisk. Any suggestions on where I could get more info on

Energizer USB UPS
Wondering if anyone could give me a little assistance here. I'm trying to setup monitoring of the UPS so the system can shutdown nicely. I have an Energizer ER-HM450 UPS. Problems with TDM40P
Heya all, I'm experiencing some problems with a TDM40P and was wondering if anyone else on this list has similar experiences, or maybe even a possible solution. My setup is a dual PIII-750 with 1 gig of RAM, with an X100P, connected to an analog line to my telco, and a TDM40P with analog phones connected. The TDM-card is not sharing any interrupts, but the X100P is, with the 2 Adaptec SCSI

Fwd: Re: Asterisk T.38 Pass-Through doesn't work
Hi! I have exactly the same problem on asterisk 1.8.22.0 and also on separate 11.2.1 when sending fax to PSTN. Tryed with spa-3102, spa-2102, Patton Smartnode 4634, and Zoiper softphone. SpanDsp also works without any problem on my box. As I remember it was a bug in 1.8.1.x that the a=T38MaxBitRate paramater was sent as "maxBitRate". Without capital "M". Are you closer to

serial port problems: micro flashing
I am new to this mailing list. I apologize if any needed information is missing. I know this is a bit much to ask of wine's current serial port implementation, I am hoping someone has maybe figured this out already? Or can help me further the debugging process, I'd rather be part of the solution then simply another complaint about wine's serial port. ***** problem description

Half-Life(First Person Shooter) is using Speex
Martin Otten did most of the work to get Speex up and running for our games about a month ago, and we just recently released it to the Steam beta. So far it appears to be working pretty well, and we're interested in doing more work using Speex going forward. I'd love to hear any feedback that people have using it, especially at the different quality settings. The information on how it
