nut compiled and installed fine
system shall

bcmxcp - Powerware 9125
I'm currently testing the bcmxcp driver for NUT, and it causes me some
trouble. And when scanning the archives it seems like the 3110 USB problem
reported recently.
The bcmxcp daemon stops running, and the logs shows the following:
Oct 6 14:22:32 host.dom.tld bcmxcp[82628]: Communications with UPS lost:
Receive error (data): got -1 bytes instead of 28!!!

[HCL] Eaton Powerware 9125 2500U supported by USB
I'm looking for a driver for and old uninterruptible power supply (UPS),
Eaton Powerware 9125 2500U. I want to use it with my FreeNAS server.
I looked a the list and didn't see a driver for it:
http://www.networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html?manufacturer=Eaton
I see a driver for the 9130; any idea whether it will work with a 9125?
Any other ideas for connecting the 9125 to a FreeNAS

Nut-snmp 0.42 vs 0.41

ConnectUPS Web/SNMP Card V4.20.
With 0.41 I used to be able to query these field that are now gone with

Any idea how I can get ups.load back ?

Powerware 9120 / bcmxcp losing communication
Hi all,
I just acquired a new UPS and have been trying to get it to work with NUT. It's an Eaton/Powerware 9120 700i with both USB and RS-232 interfaces.
I first tried the USB interface (using bcmxcp_usb) and found that the UPS worked fine for a few minutes but then NUT lost communication and didn't get it back. In addition the UPS itself seemed to lock up at one point such that the

Add general UPS SNMP agent as a nut client
Hi
One idea I've had for some time, but unfortunately not had time to
implement, is to add a general SNMP agent, which will work with all UPSes
supported by nut.
The idea is to have the SNMP agent use the "nut API" to fetch
values from the UPS.
So the SNMP agent will be similar to the "upsc" utility.
Whenever the SNMP agent is queried for information, it will use the

bcmxcp in development tag.
Hi.
FYI. Have tested the bcmxcp driver from cvs development tag.
And it work as expected on the 5115 with the serial interface.
So to Wolfgang, no bug introduced in the serial module when you split'ed
the driver.
If i get some time to spare, i have a look on the serial module to make
it wake up the ups. The 9125 is type pnp so it need to be waken up.
Then there are some cleanup to be done

CentOS 5.4 and 5.5 UPS EATON/MGE
Hi Guys,
I have a couple of servers which runs CentOS 5.5 and CentOS 5.4. We have
decided to buy a UPS and we choose Eaton EX RT 11 plus eaton network
management card minislot. I have read on the site of Eaton that they have
two applications which could gracefully shutdown my servers - LanSafe and
NetWatch. My experience with UPS and those applications is zero so I`m here
for some advises? Do you

Setting Battery Runtime Low
Dear All,
We have an Eaton 9395 UPS, with a ConnectUPS Web/SNMP card.
I've successfully configured NUT to talk to the SNMP card, however it reports a battery.runtime.low of 1 , not much use, how do I change this value, is it defined by the UPS itself, the SNMP card, or NUT ?
Output of upsc below.
Cheers

bcmxcp: Patch for cosmetic code changes
Hi
Here is a very minor patch for the bcmxcp.c driver, mainly fixing the
function name used in debug statement, and at the same time fix indentation.

bcmxcp: Now supports more ups variables, help needed on testing on hardware
Hi
I have now done some work to clean up the bcmxcp driver somewhat, and
then addede support for a number of more
ups variables, so if you have hardware supporting it, you should get
more output from "upsc" command, for example.
I do not have hardware to test this, so I hope someone do have hardware
and are willing to test.
The changes should be ok, it is just add new mappings from

Fwd: Question about Network UPS Tools bcmxcp driver
Hi,
Got this mail.
It looks like he has a ups with revision before K, and need another
startup. The 'PW_SET_REQ_ONLY_MODE' is not implemented,
so to make it work we have to follow the protocol and send
a 'PW_ID_BLOCK_REQ'. This in comsetup of bcmxcp_ser.c
Also the standard id block ends with 'Statistics Map', so we have to
