Nut and PowerWare 5115
Hi everyone, Been searching like crazy to find an answer to this. I have even read some of the source code but cannot figure this one out. I have installed nut 2.4.1 on my QNAP 409 Pro. (command: ipkg install nut) I have configured the ups.conf, upsd.conf and upsd.users. When i run "upsdrvctl start" I get the following error messages and output.

bcmxcp - Powerware 9125
I'm currently testing the bcmxcp driver for NUT, and it causes me some trouble. And when scanning the archives it seems like the 3110 USB problem reported recently. The bcmxcp daemon stops running, and the logs shows the following: Oct 6 14:22:32 host.dom.tld bcmxcp[82628]: Communications with UPS lost: Receive error (data): got -1 bytes instead of 28!!! bcmxcp_usb offers no runtime or serial # with a Powerware 5110/700va
Hi everyone, First of all a big thank you for the NUT package, I've been using it for years and couldn't get by without it! I have two Powerware UPS's here, a 9120/1500va and a 5110/700va. The 9120 has used a hacked bcmxcp driver (serial) from the 2.0.2 nut version for about a year now (which I'll explain more about in a seperate email to the dev list), and the 5110 which I just

help w/ Powerware Prestige 9
Hi, I've got a Powerware Prestige 9 1kVA UPS that seems to not be working with nut. It's not in the current "supported hardware" list, but the old bcmxcp page lists it as being a UPS that speaks that protocol. I have the following in my ups.conf [powerware] driver = bcmxcp port = /dev/ttyS0 desc = "Powerware Prestige 9 EXT" baud_rate = 2400 And when I start the

Problems with Powerware 5115 on Patsburge USB
I am seeing some problems when using the Powerware 5115 UPS when connected to the Patsburg USB controller and would like to know if anyone has a solution. The symptom is that PING messages sent to the bcmxcp_usb driver take as long as 25 seconds to complete. The configuration is a Romley patform (a.k.a., Sandy Bridge + Patsburg) running Debian 6 with 2.6.39 kernel with NUT 2.6.4 in which the

Powerware PW5115 USB driver
Hi I have PW 5115 500 UPS which has both RS232 and USB connectors. bcmxcp driver works fine with serial connection but bcmxcp_usb does not with USB one. After some USB sniffing on windows box I've found that PW5115 communicates in other way than supposed in driver. Applying attached patch makes driver to work properly. System: FreeBSD 6.2 but ugen driver needs patching in order to respect

Eaton Powerware 5110 - some stats not reported
The meter map is basically a bitmap that indicates what variables are output (and in what format) by the UPS. You will likely see a variable, 'not mapped' or nothing. The variables and 'not mapped' items are output by the UPS in the measurement block, and the map tells nut how to read it. 'Unmapped' means that there is a variable there that nut is ignoring, and the xcp
