Nut-snmp 0.42 vs 0.41
I am using nut-snmp driver on ubuntu 8.04 to query a Powerware
ConnectUPS Web/SNMP Card V4.20.
With 0.41 I used to be able to query these field that are now gone with
0.42:
input.frequency
input.voltage
output.voltage
ups.load
Any idea how I can get ups.load back ?

My UPS has arrived, time to start working on documentation
Arnaud, my UPS arrived yesterday; thanks for your generosity. I'm
using it to power the computer I'm typing on. This moves NUT up a few
places on my priority list.
In our last email exchange, I believe we agreed on a couple of major
points. I want to confirm these before I start modifying the
documentation heavily.
1. asciidoc is a good master format for the in-tree documentation.

Tripp-Lite Internet350Ser
Hello,
I'm newbie with NUT, I'm trying to get work a *Tripp-Lite Internet350Ser*, a
small UPS with serial port.
The only reference about, is a modification patch that Mr. Patrick Levesque
did for NUT 2.4.1 but the actual 2.6.1 looks to not have it yet.
I tried all tripp and generic drivers but no success.
Has anyone luck with this Tripp-Lite model?
Thanks!

nut package with Riello UPS support
Hello list,
I have explored https://github.com/networkupstools/nut repository
and found that Riello UPS added into list of supported UPS.
But current package for most distribution it's nut-2.6.5 which
doesn't have Riello's models.
Do we need to wait next upcoming nut release to get start with Riello?
I tried to install from source but stuck:
# git clone

AsciiDoc and R
I would like to learn AsciiDoc. Is there any good examples how to use
AsciiDoc with R? I know that there is packages called ascii to do
this, but it would be nice to see some examples how AsciiDoc works
with R. Is there an AsciiDoc distribution for Max OS X?

Getting asciidoc
I need to install asciidoc on my build machine. There is a version
for CentOS-5 available at dags rpm site. I have a repository
configured for dag like so:

name=Dag Wieers RPM Repository for Red Hat Enterprise Linux
#Also see URL http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/

PowerWalker UPS
Dear Nut-UPSdev Team,
First of all I would like to appreciate the great job you are doing.
Your work is very important and helpful for all UPS users.
I found that you show compatibility with blazer_ser and blazer_usb for six of our models.
Please inform me how we can make it happen that all our models become compatible?
Who from your team added the compatibility with PowerWalker VI 850 LCD?

[nut-commits] svn commit r1953 - branches/AsciiDoc/docs/website/scripts
Arnaud,
Thanks for removing the warning. I suspect that many users still using
IE6 are doing so because of their IT department (rather than personal
preference).
IMHO, browser evangelism is slightly outside the scope of the NUT project :-)

Recommendations for consumer-grafe GPSes?
2. Recommendations?
My use case is pretty typical. I have one Linux machine I want to
protect, automated shutown is desirable, blackouts longer than a
hour are very rare at my location (the last one I can remember was
in 1993), brownouts are very rare and mild, but summer thunderstorms
are common and can be severe. I'm a good match for your typical
consmer-grade UPS.

A new project using AsciiDoc: Network UPS Tools
Since I've heard about AsciiDoc (thanks ESR), I'm in the process of
revamping the full Network UPS Tools documentation and website.
Without going into the usual "it curred my desease, got my wife back
home, and made me won a billion", it really saved my life ^_ ^
I was searching for such tool for years!
thanks a lot Stuart and others. Kudos for the work!
