Update link for SuSE packages on networkupstools.org?
Arjen, all
I don't know if there is some prohibition against it, but the packages.html
link for SuSE RPMs should be changed from:
http://software.opensuse.org/
To something useful that will get the site visitors to the actual rpms. For
the packages that were part of the distribution:
http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/
or for updated packages on build service:

Install problems (group permissions) with nut 2.7.2
Ok, I tried this from scratch on a fresh 2.7.2 directory. I followed the web instructions, specifically:
+ I generated the new subdriver for my UPS (rtd-hid.*) based on PATH info.
+ I put them in the drivers subdir
+ I added the include line (#include rtd-hid.h) in usbhid-ups.c (specifically in the #ifndef SHUT_MODE section)
+ I added &rtd_subdriver, to the subdriver_list in usbhid-ups.c

2.8.1 build buglet: sockdebug.c
I am (belatedly) updating pkgsrc to 2.8.1 (+ bugfix).
(FWIW, I think a 2.8.1.1 or 2.8.2 immediately with the fix is in order.
>From a packaging viewpoint, the effort to update for a release is about
3 minutes plus time to adapt anythhing that has changed. So I'd much
rather have releases more often.)
In the pkgsrc build, nut finds tcp wrappers because they are part of the
base system.

pkgconfig fix for nut
Dear Stanislav,
thanks for your patch. The problem with your "recommended"
pkgconfigdir is that in many cases, it does not work. Namely, when
${prefix} is not one of the standard places such as /usr.
As I understand it, the whole point of a tool like pkgconfig is to
allow other software to automatically detect the install location of
NUT, especially when that location is not one of

Install problems (group permissions) with nut 2.7.2
Sorry for the bad formatting of the previous message...I tried to use plus signs as bullet points, and that caused a problem somehow.
Ok...I discovered that if I do the autoreconf after the first failed make (and the autoreconf still gives that error message), and then do make again...it builds.
Conclusions:
1) Autoreconf *must* be run, and not ./configure? I had thought that putting in my *.c

I wrote to a generic alias ( Ro-PQSupport ). Got a reply from a fellow
Romanian who also CC:ed something looking like a list
(List-EGPQCO-BUCRO-PQ ). I replied to both of them 5 days ago, received
nothing since.

Install problems (group permissions) with nut 2.7.2
Well, having spent a decent amount of time trying to get my driver file added into the Makefile build system (and failing), I've decided that for now, simply adding that one line to the openups-hid.c file and recompiling is the best route to go. When I can no longer live with the limited nature of the openups-hid driver, I'll revisit writing our own.
Thanks for the helps.

RPM .spec files in NUT source tree
All,
Arnaud and I were discussing the *.spec files we have in the NUT
source tree, and with the 2.4.0 release of NUT just around the corner,
I would like to make sure we are pointing people in the right
direction for NUT RPMs.
Currently, we have *.spec files for "generic-rpm" (has a few macros
for RedHat 6.x and 7.x), Mandriva (circa NUT 2.0.2), openSUSE, and
RedHat (apparently from

[LLVMdev] probleam about ThreadLocalImpl of llvm
Hi, everyone:
I am very sorry to trouble you, but I need your help about my problem
about ThreadLocalImpl in llvm of 2.8 version. I have compiled it in Windows
xp with mingw, and have compiled skyeye(an open source project about
simulator) as it uses llvm. But when I run a testcase ---- arm_hello, it
came out segment fault. I used gdb.exe to trace it, it gave the following
infomation:

this is a very old version of LLVM, I suggest you try something newer, eg the
recently released version 3.1.
Best wishes, Duncan.

2.8.1 build buglet: sockdebug.c
By the way, on the NUT CI farm the libwrap is present on some (though not
all) systems - covering linux, freebsd, openindiana... and neither
complained about `sockdebug` :\
What version do you have? Maybe it is some alternate implementation?
