Problem with APC and Fedora 8 I86_64
I have been trying to get Nut working on a system with Fedora 8 i86_64 installed and an APC
Smart-UPS USB.
The 2.2.0 rpm does not seem to like the USB on this UPS. I have tried compiling the 2.2.2 version,
from source, but am getting warnings. I have tried building it on my i386 system (f8 as well) and I
get no warnings also the 2.2.0 works fine on that one with a TrippLite Omni 900 LCD via

Hi all,
I'm using Asterisk 1.0.9-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC8o on box A with a TE410P

connected to another similar asterisk box B acting as EuroISDN master.
I'm performing some load tests by contiously feeding up to concurrent 30
call files to /var/spool/asterisk/outgoing/ on box A
which inititate via a dialplan context/extension a outbound call

NUT shutdown on 'building alarm' (
Dear NUT developers,
I am using NUT + bcmxcp + Powerware 9315. I would like to use NUT to shut
down my systems if the air conditioning fails and the room get too hot.
I want the same shutdown sequence as would be produced when the UPS goes
on battery.
The UPS has a terminal block at the front for up to six different
'building alarms'. I can connect a thermostat (35C) to the

[LLVMdev] Trying to build Firefox on OSX with LLVM 2.2
Hello
I'm trying to build Firefox with LLVM 2.2 and llvm-gcc 4.2 but I can't
get it working. I've tried with Firefox 2.0.0.12 and 3.0 from CVS. The
build error from Firefox 2 is this:

Centralion Blazer 2000VA USB-HID
Hi again,
I've succeeded in compiling the svn trunk with the automake tools and wish
to say thank you to Charles Lepple for his help.
After fixing some parameters in the hotplug script I can now get access to
the UPS on /dev/usb/hiddev0 (I added productid and vendorid of my ups to the
usermap).
I've decided to try the newhidups driver with -x generic parameter and got

Buildbot doesn build hal
Charles,
It looks like the buildbot no longer builds (if it ever did, I don
remember) the HAL addons, even if the requirements are met:
configure:9680: checking for libhal version via pkg-config (0.5.8
minimum required)
configure:9690: result: 0.5.11 found
configure:9694: checking for libhal cflags via pkg-config
configure:9703: result: -DDBUS_API_SUBJECT_TO_CHANGE

Re: [nut-commits] svn commit r808 - in trunk: . drivers
I get the following error on r809 (but it looks like the code change
happened here). Does HIDDevice_t need to be defined/changed in one of
the headers?
if gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../../drivers -I../include
-I../../include -DDBUS_API_SUBJECT_TO_CHANGE -I/usr/include/hal
-I/usr/include/dbus-1.0 -I/usr/lib/dbus-1.0/include -DINET6 -O2

Build 2.0.4, usb.h missing.
Hi!
I've got a Mandrake 2006.0 machine and a APC Back-UPS Pro 500/1000/1500
(from lsusb). The Mandrake package version of nut is 2.0.1 and hidups
actually detects the UPS, however I get loads of these:

print() from within a function - Windows specific? (PR#7584)
Full_Name: Markus Liedgens
Version: Ever since 1.6
OS: Windows 98 / Windows Xp
Submission from: (NULL) (81.63.111.226)
To control the progress of a function one can consider to use print() to issue a
message in the command window. However, using Win98 / R 1.9 or WinXP / R 2.0,
this approach is of little usefulness, since all the print() commands are issued
at once, just before the control

bootstrap
Hi,
You might need to check library(boot).? I have never used that before.? So, I can't comment much.? It is better to post on R-help list.? I had seen your postings on Nabble in the past.? Unfortunately those postings were not accepted in R-help.? You have to directly post at ? r-help at r-project.org after registering at:

NUT-NG (was: ideas for a new UPS infrastructure)
some notes:
- for this kind of discussion, please cc upsdev list (I've added it),
- I've fwded the full thread to upsdev,
- this subject is part of what I call NUT-NG (next gen.), aka nut 3.0...
- I'll study in depth the thread this week end, and complete with my thoughts,
- thanks to Stan to have put us all in touch

need-restart ?
Hi,
today I updated the glibc packages on some CentOS machines. After the
Update I checked which
services/processes I have to restart "yum -C ps" or "needs-restarting"
At the most machines I get no information about necessary restarts, but
at two machines a long listing :
1 : /sbin/init
386 : /sbin/udevd-d
659 : /sbin/udevd-d
999 : /usr/sbin/vmtoolsd

Hi there,
Not sure if this is a limit of icecast or ezstream.
When I try to make a third mount I get :
