Mustek Powermust 600USB and newhidups
So, I have this Mustek Powermust 600USB (no serial port) here
temporarily. It seems to be a hid device.
The output from "lsusb -v" and "newhidups -DDDDD" (with "generic" and
"vendorid=06da") are (respectively):

ST7 RS232 USB Bridge (STMicroelectronics) UPS
I used a brazilian UPS from "TS-Shara" which uses the megatec
serial protocol and it works perfectly. Now I have another one from the
same brand (TS-Shara) and it uses a USB cable. I found the following:

how do I find the association between a usb port and a /dev entry?
I looked through the faq, but couldn't find an answer to this.
I'm trying to configure nut-2.0.4-26 on SuSE linux 10.2.
In ups.conf, I have
[myups]
driver = belkinunv
port = /dev/undefined
desc = "Local UPS"
I'm trying to find out what the port should be set to.

INFOSEC 500 XP usb support
Hi everybody,
In a christmas sequel I've been offered one of the units mentioned above.
I've tried to connect it to my Fedora 8 workstation but rapidly
concluded it's not yet supported by NUT.
So far, I've decompiled the Java classes of the manufacturer's
application and noticed that it's most probably yet another kind of
serial protocol through the USB.

Nut with megatec_usb
Hi,
I'm new in the list and I'm having a little bit trouble to put the
megatec_usb to work.
I've been using NUT for a while with the apc and megatec driver (serial),
with no problem.
The server is a Ubuntu 8.04.2 with NUT version 2.2.1-2.1ubuntu7.2, the
default package version in this ubuntu release.
I've configured the ups.conf as follows:
[sms]
driver = megatec_usb

Nut problems with Centos and Belkin UPS
Hi Arjen
My apologies fro drifting off topic in the other mailing list...:-)
On the bottom of the Belkin UPS unit - is the model number: F6C120auUNV
The "au" is for Australia I think.
"man belkinunv" states that F6C120-UNV is supported - and I assumed that
the "au" would not prevent this.
I plugged in the USB to gather the information you requested. My

powermust usb
Hi,
I have a powermust with a usb connector.
I searched the archive and found this post:

Must I abandon hope of controlling this UPS via USB
with NUT?
Added this line to
/etc/udev/rules.d/70-nut-usbups.rules:

Confusing Generic USB UPS cannot be matched
I was dropping off junk at the waste transfer station and scarfed a UPS
out of the pile of old TV's and VCR's. It was in good physical condition
and as I expected, the battery was toast. A new RBC-2 battery restored
it to working condition. Then I tried to get it to talk to some
software. And I am having no luck.
The unit is branded as a Nexxtech Model 6118507 650VA imported into
