Fwd: Auto-discard notification
don't know why, but Carlos' message has been auto discarded! as a side note, iirc, the line in the file is mentioned. So it's easier than searching and removing. though I agree that Carlos' mentioned solution is cleaner. -- Arnaud 8<------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: "Carlos Rodrigues"

TrippLite SMX1500LCDT FreeBSD 11.2 trouble
Hi Everyone, I'm having trouble getting TrippLite SMX1500LCDT to work on FreeBSD 11.2, nut 2.7.4 installed from FreeBSD port. The debug output is rather big when I'm starting usbhid-ups initially, Please find that attached (gzipped to comply with message size limit). Subsequently, until I unplug and replug the USB cable, I'm geting a shorter debug output, like this: Network UPS

NUT support for the new Tripp Lite AVR700U (USB 3024) under OpenWrt?
Thanks for your support, Jim. I found a workaround: logread showed some access-denied errors, and because I don't know exactly what it may be (except the lack of udev rules perhaps), I ran upsd as root and it connected with the UPS. Therefore I wonder whether a more elegant solution could be used for this part? But there are several things about the readings with the 2.7.4 usbhid-ups driver

Network UPS Tools version 2.7.1 released
Network UPS Tools version 2.7.1 has been released: http://www.networkupstools.org/ This release is an interim release, part of the testing series, and the first release after the transition from Subversion to Git. The last release (2.6.5) is almost a year old. A lot of work has been done, but a good amount remains to achieve 2.8.0 goals. Direct access: - Download:

I think 3024 was added after NUT 2.7.4 release. I installed NUT version 2.6.3-1ubuntu1.1 w/the client and server and the nut monitor. When I open the monitor, I get an error: error connecting to 'local host' ([Errno] connection refused). What can I do to get NUT to work? I can not tell if the NUT program is working or not. I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 32 bit Installed NUT from the Synaptic Package Manager. My computer is a Systemax

CENTOS 6.6 NUT RPM BUILD ISSUES
That worked out just fine. What I am currently running into are conditions where I am getting the following error that I figured I would share. Error: libusb_get_interrupt() returned 0 instead of 8 while sending 3a 4d b2 0d 00 00 00 00 '.M......' Conditions: upsdrvctl start via Init Script at Boottime. If I run the init script after boot, I do not receive this error. Eric Cobb ekcobb

NUT support for the new Tripp Lite AVR700U (USB 3024) under OpenWrt?
I'm mostly not online for a few more days, so can't check directly. The general answers to the two questions would be: 1) checking if it is there: * revise if it is mentioned in the NEWS file (in sources - release tarball or on github); * check issues on github; * search/grep for 3024 in current/release-tagged codebase... 2) getting it to your system: versioning looks debianish, some
