ldd question on CentOS 6.8 (64bit)
Hi all, Will ldd display the paths to different libraries depending on their locations? I'm trying to build libxml2 version 2.9.6 in /usr/local with a newer version of zlib (1.2.8) than what are in the system folders for CentOS 6.8. I get the following output from ldd: $ ldd ./libxml2.so ./libxml2.so: /lib64/libz.so.1: version `ZLIB_1.2.3.3' not found (required by ./libxml2.so)

Hi, if I want to use 'llvm-gcc' I get: dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib Referenced from: /Users/me/llvm/gcc/bin/llvm-gcc Reason: Incompatible library version: llvm-gcc requires version 8.0.0 or later, but libiconv.2.dylib provides version 7.0.0 Trace/BPT trap So I installed MacPorts and 'libiconv', but I get the same error message. blazer_usb vs. Ippon Smart Power Pro 1400
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello 2All. Today I had purchased Ippon Smart Power Pro 1400 UPS for my home PC. It is a higher class device relative to Ippon Back Pro model line. It has one RS232 port and one USB port to connect the monitoring station to. UPS talks with megatec protocol, RS232 works as usual. USB connection is done through Cypress Semiconductor usb-to-serial chip

[PATCH] missing -lm in drivers/Makefile
Hi all, I couldn't cross-compile NUT for uClibc x86_64 with shared libm, but the problem may show up with any other target as well. ldexp() requires "-lm" and most toolchains are happy without it, but picky ones aren't. This is a trivial patch to keep all linkers happy. Regards, diff -Naubr nut-2.7.2.old/drivers/Makefile.am nut-2.7.2.new/drivers/Makefile.am ---

Dynamix 1000 VA USB and NUT
Hi Volker Kuhlmann and Richard Nelson, As both of you are interested in where I got up to with getting my Dynamix 1000 VA UPS working with Linux, here is the details. It works.. But not too well, as the driver still seems to need some work, and is not in the main nut source as far as I know. It also seems to sometimes not respond when it should. The manufacture has uses the same format as

RV: About your driver NUTDRV_ATCL_USB(8) for install
I think I may be of some help in this matter. Since I am running a bunch of Raspberry Pi's with NUT and it took a lot of hacking to make it possible. You could probably copy and paste this right into a shell script and just run it ... # Do an rpi-update FIRST to prevent USB strangeness #some depencies from repo sudo apt-get -y install m4 libtool libudev-dev automake #fixing autoconf for
