[nut-hal-drivers] Battery level is not correct for Ippon Back Comfo Pro UPS with Megatec protocol.
Hello,
I'm trying to get my UPS working with nut-hal-drivers, and it seems be detected
correctly with Megatec protocol, but it provides wrong battery level.
I read that I can use battvolts option to fix this problem, but HAL version of
nut does not come with any config files. So, I'm guess it should be somehow
fixed in sources?

Merging blzr as blazer (and un-merging voltronic?)
Daniele,
Thanks again for your work on both the voltronic and blzr drivers. To get the most exposure to new drivers, what we have typically done in the past is to rename the existing driver as *-old, so that users get the new driver by default when they upgrade (but the old driver is still available if there are regressions). This is how we are incorporating Michal's apcsmart updates.

blazer_usb - short reply
Hello!
I'm trying to use nut with a Ippon Smart Winner 3000 UPS
(http://shop.key.ru/photo/items/45535.jpg) which looks like a
custom-labeled OEM model of the megatec branch.
I tried both the megatec_usb and the blazer_usb drivers for it, with a
obvious config section:
[ippon]
driver = blazer_usb
port = auto
vendorid = 06da
productid = 0003
desc = "Ippon Smart Winner 3000"

megatec and some changes to cmdvartab and new-names.txt
I had some free time this weekend, and made some long overdue changes
to "megatec". The thing is, these changes lead to a couple of
questions that I must ask before I go on and "svn commit" them:
1) The blazer, fentonups, esupssmart, ippon, sms and mustek drivers
are now completely covered and all of their functionality should now
be present in megatec, and also every model

blazer_usb vs. Ippon Smart Power Pro 1400

Hello 2All.
Today I had purchased Ippon Smart Power Pro 1400 UPS for my home PC.
It is a higher class device relative to Ippon Back Pro model line. It has one
RS232 port and one USB port to connect the monitoring station to. UPS talks with
megatec protocol, RS232 works as usual. USB connection is done through Cypress
Semiconductor usb-to-serial chip

usb ups on openindiana
Hello all,
I am trying to set up my brother's UPS (remotely over internet)
on an OpenIndiana-based storage box. According to him, the UPS is
probably an Ippon Back Power Pro 600 dated around 2003 (battery
recently replaced), and it has an USB connection.
Sorry for a relatively long post with a log of my successes and
failures, in the hopes that someone would point out what I did
wrong.

[nut] Ippon response length fix (#80)

When checking that command was successful (i.e. not echoed back) code relies on the response length reported by blazer_command which will always be 64. To fix this ippon_command should return actual payload length. This change also affects

Good day to all.
In one of the offices I'm administering there are about 15 UPS marked with the
brand "Ippon BackPro". This brand is widely popular in Russian Federation, while
by itself is a 'Made in PRC' megatec clone. Depending on the model this UPSes
have got either one standard serial RS-232C interface (cheaper models like

ippon smart power pro 1000
Hi!
I'm having problems connecting Ippon Smart power pro 1000 UPS to nut via usb
under FreeBSD 7-stable
The UPS uses megatec protocol and works fine via RS232 (UPS has RS232 and
USB connectors)
When I connect USB /dev/uhid0 is created. Tried port=/dev/uhid0 - doesn't
work.
Kernel rebuild w/o option uhid.
On connect I get 2 devices /dev/ugen1, /dev/ugen1.1. Tried both of them.

Request for new UPS support : Tecnoware ECO LCD 650VA
Hello!
I'm not a very happy owner of "Designed in Italy and manufactured in China"
Tecnoware ECO LCD 650 UPS.
Plan was to use it with FreeNAS 8 on HP Microserver... But this plan gone
bad.
I want to ask you to look at another "Megatec USB" protocol implementation.
This UPS controlled by UPSilon 2000 program (Windows OS). Protocol type
Mega(USB).
