Cyberpower 900AVR/BC900D newhidups problem
I'm trying to get nut to work with a Cyberpower 900AVR. There are many
different products known by this name, but this one has the extra name
'BC900D'.
I am told by a cyberpower tech that this one should talk exactly the
same USB protocol as the 685AVR, which was recently made to work with
newhidups.
Unfortunately, when I run the SVN checkout (trunk) of nut-2.1, I get:

linux 3.3-pre-rc1: Starting domU fails with Error: Failed to query current memory allocation of dom0.
Hi Konrad,
Today i tried linuses tree of today (last commit is 4c4d285ad5665bfbd983b95fde8d7a477d24a361).
It boots dom0 fine, but it fails to start any domU with: "Error: Failed to query current memory allocation of dom0."
With my previous 3.1.5 kernel everything is fine, nothing else changed in config in between.

Something about Upper/Lower-case
Hi,
We are using SAMBA on Solaris and AIX and discovered a funny
thing. (A bug ??) (We had tried on a Linux-box as well and have same
result.)
SAMBA AFTER VER. 2.0.0 returns the full path in both UPPER and LOWER case,
eg. DRIVERLETTER:\DIR\DIR\DIR\filename.txt
This is a problem for us do to Unix case-sensitive.
Our devel.dep. wrote a litle program using this routine (From the helpfile

pciback for usb-controller and usb-storage on x86_64 ends in Oops
Hi!
I tried to pcipassthrough usb-controllers to domu to use it with a
memory-stick.
First xen complained that the driver needs write-access to its
configuration space, so I added these to pci-quirks.
Since it still didn''t work I also added the device to pci-permissive but
I still get an errormessage with Oops (at the end of this email) when
sticking in the memory-stick.

Bug#686764: xen: Multiple security issues
Package: xen
Dear maintainer,
Recently you fixed one or more security problems and as a result you closed
this bug. These problems were not serious enough for a Debian Security
Advisory, so they are now on my radar for fixing in the following suites
through point releases:
squeeze (6.0.7) - use target "stable"
Please prepare a minimal-changes upload targetting each of these suites,

Lagged values problem requiring short solution time
Hello,
I am hoping someone can help tackle the problem below, for which I require a fast solution. It feels like there should be an elegant approach, but I am drawing blanks.
Take a vector 'x' with random values > 0:
x = runif(10,1,5)
Assume some reasonably small positive value 'delta':
delta = 0.75
The task is to find a solution vector 'y' of same length as

Seeking feedback on my first attempt at R programming
Hello Everyone,
Below is my first attempt at R programming. The code replicates example 5.1 from Common Statistical Methods for Clinical Research with SAS Examples. I was hoping that people more experienced than myself would be willing to take a look and let me know what I did well and what could have been done better. I'd be particularly grateful if anyone could tell me why the two user

Interpret List Label as Date from Quantmod getOptionChain
Hi R Helpers,
Is it possible to interpret the top level of the list as a date after downloading all the option chain data for a ticker?
For example, after I run
aapl_total<-getOptionChain("AAPL", NULL)
the top descriptor of the lists is a date (Mar.09.2018, Mar.23.2018, etc.).
So if want to subset down to those parts of the list that correspond to say, (expiration)
