blazer_ser problem on windows NUT 2.6.5-3780M
Hi,
I have a bunch of UPSs, most connected to pcs with Linux working 100% with
NUT.
The only one I have a problem with, is connected to Windows 7 64bit, and I
used the straight MSI installed from the website
named NUT-Installer-2.6.5-4.msi
Took me a while to find a way to get it to work, but it is ugly for now.
Just starting up the service results in a NUT not working at all, and I
tracked it

Hi, folks!
Which driver should be used for PowerMan 2000 Real Smart?
Backpro 1000 Plus is successfully monitored by genericups/upstype=4,
but this's not working for RealSmart2000. Somebody wrote in blogs
at http://k001.livejournal.com/270848.html that RealSmart
can be monitored using "fentonups" driver but this is false on my box.

Jk2 v1.02 and v1.04
Well guys, got myself in an annoying situation here. I'm using Ubuntu and i installed Wine. Then i installed Jk2 (Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast) and it worked straight away! I could play online on v1.02. I didn't try v1.04, because v1.04 is for nubs lol. Anyway, the next day i tried to refresh the server list and nothing shown up. So i updated to v1.04 to have a look if it could

UPS driver unknown
Hi All.
I was wondering of someone on the list could guide me to the correct driver
for the following UPS:
Fuden Electronics PCSTAR PT1000.

I have found that with the genericups upstype=7 driver I can see the
ups.status going from "OL" to "OB" when I unplug the UPS.
Any ideas?

Mongrel instance dies unexpectedly, but cleanly....
Hi,
I have a two instance mongrel cluster, running behind apache
mod_proxy_balancer on a linux VPS. Mongrel_cluster is 1.01, mongrel is
v1.02, rails 1.2.3, ruby 1.8.6. I seem to have enough memory.
About 2 minutes after I start the cluster, one of my instances dies - it
could be either one. The log file indicates that it received a TERM
signal. The instance does die cleanly, removing its pid

NUT Driver
Hi,
I'm having a little trouble finding the correct driver to use with my UPS. I've tried all the drivers in /lib/nut all without success.
My UPS is a generic no name UPS. It doesn't have a model number and a google for serial/partial serial returned nothing. I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to try next.

vmware NT for testing samba
Hi there!
I read in the news on www.samba.org that the developers are using vmware
to test samba configs without needing an extra machine. Well, I had the
same idea, but browsing doesn?t work.
I?m running NT (4.0 sp1) in a Window on Linux (SuSE 6.0 with Kernel
2.2.7) using vmware (v1.02). Samba is running under Linux on the same
machine. I can connect using the NT Explorer menu command

Lock On with Wine
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has gotten Lock On: Modern Air Combat v1.02 to run with Wine 1.3.16. I have installed successfully but I cannot seem to get the actual program to start. When I try to start from the terminal I get the following:

How many servers depend on the User Agent field sent by a client?

4.9-rc + usb + asus a7n8x == bad news
Hi! Just before we start, this is not the "USB hang on boot" problem. OK?

can I use template to assemble a html page in an controller and redirect to another controller?
Hi,all!
I want to assemble a html page and put it into flash and redirect to
another controller ,for example:
flash[:aaa]="<html><body><div>hi</div></body></html>"
but what I need is to assemble some more complicate html page,so I
want to read the render result of a template before to send it to
browser.

RELENG_6 regression: panic: vm_fault on nofault entry, addr: c8000000
Hi,
there's a regression going from 6.2 to 6.3, where it will panic upon
booting the kernel within vm_fault. This problem has been discussed
before, but I'm seeing it reliably on a RELENG_6 checkout from 5th of
May.
It affects multiple (but identical) systems, here's an verbose boot
leading to the panic. Please note that 6.2 was running fine on these
machines, they also boot

(http://sourceforge.net/projects/powerman/), pointed by Tony Merenda,
from Opengear (thanks Tony). Congrats for your work in this area!
I've thought a bit about Powerman and NUT since then...

megatec driver floods syslog with "UPS lost/re-established" messages

I have bought Powerman Optima 500 Plus UPS. While this
product might be unknown outside Russia, it is shipped with
megatec software and obviously works with megatec driver in
NUT. besides the following problems (I think they are
caused by one reason):
1) megatac driver is able to load and detect UPS only on
second or third run. On the first run it typically fails.
