Question on weird output from a Compaq R3000
Hi All, I put my Compaq R3000 UPS on NUT. Every once in a while the battery alarm light turns on, on the front of the UPS. Maybe once every couple of days or so. When that happens I get the following output in /var/log/messages: Sep 22 01:51:46 mail upscode2[90734]: Unknown response to UPDS: .20 MOUL1 Sep 22 01:51:46 mail upscode2[90734]: Unknown response to UPDS: 0119.20 MOIL1 Sep 22

probably an faq, but - support for Compaq R3000h ?
I notice from the hardware compatibility list that the XR model is supported - what are the chances that the older R3000h models are too? Thanks. /Per Jessen, Z?rich

Battery applet missing Compaq R3000
Hello list, I recently loaded CentOS 4.2 x86_64 on a Compaq R3000 laptop and then fully updated to 4.3. The battery applet on other installs always just showed up and worked, not so here. It is not in the applet choices at all, it is available here on my desktop. I suspect it is something simple I'm missing but I need a point in the right direction. I did try: yum remove and yum install

Compaq R3000h support
Hi List. I have an old Compaq 3000 (Eaton 5119). It is running servers, disk-arrays, one workstation etc. I am planning to install NUT (master) on a headless CENTOS 6.8 system. Connect the UPS with seral cable. Now my main question is, Does NUT support the power segments on the UPS. My intention is to be able to take down the system in an ordered way before the batteries are exhausted. I.e 5 mins

HP R3000 XR, warning or perhaps error
Hi, So far I've gleaned heaps of useful info from the list and got mostly running with NUT. There was a thread by Paul Battaglia and Kjell Claesson about the R3000 which has helped me get so far, but now with the patched driver I still have this on startup: # /usr/local/ups/bin/upsdrvctl start Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.0.5 Network UPS Tools - BCMXCP UPS driver 0.11

HP R3000 XR (BCMXCP) serial connection problem: e7!!! and e2!!!
UPS: HP R3000 XR with HP UPS Management Module What I Want: I just want the UPS to shut down the client called "tor" before the UPS power drains out, I'd prefer to use a direct serial cable instead of network, in case the network doesn't work. I'll manage the UPS trough the ethernet using the built-in HTTP webinterface in the HP UPS Management Module. I've created a
