Hi, I'm using a APC Smart UPS with a Mac Mini, connected using a USB serial converter. Works fine so far, the Mac Mini will be shut down, a NAS connected of the network to the nut on Mac Mini will also shut down, perfect. However, the ups will not be shut down. I recently took over maintenance of a linux computer which is drawing power from a "Maruson Power Net 1500" UPS. However, there is currently no monitoring or control of the UPS by this (or any other) computer. Can nut control this device? There are serial, usb, and EPO connectors on the back of the unit. Hello. I recently upgraded from Ubuntu Maverick to Natty and hence upgraded nut from 2.4.3-1ubuntu5 to 2.6.0-1ubuntu3.
