OMNIPLUS1000LCD is "unavailable"
Hello! First time posting to this list. I recently purchased a Tripp-Lite OMNIPLUS1000LCD from Costco (USA). I have it attached via USB to a Dell computer with Ubuntu 8.04 server (all updates on it). I've gone through a lot of research on google and this list and can't figure out why my UPS will not connect using nut/usbhid-ups. My setup in ups.conf is: ------- [OMNI1000LCD]

TrippLite SmartPro and 2.0.3
I'm running Ubuntu 5.10, featuring a patched kernel 2.6.12. I have a Tripp Lite SmartPro SLT ups connected via USB. I have cleanly compiled and installed the new nut 2.0.3. I do have the "extras", like libusb, installed too. I need some USB advice- that is, I'm not sure what a normal baseline should look like. At boot, the modules usb_core and uhci_hcd are loaded. dmesg

About compression of files on OCFS

I know OCFS VER 1.X only supports Oracle datafiles (including archive logfiles). My customer has one question. - Is it supported that archive logfiles on OCFS are compressed (using compress, gzip command etc) ? In other words, is it

Dom0 issues: snv_79b and Tecra M9
Hi all, I have a Toshiba Tecra M9 and have not been able to boot it dom0. This is running SXDE 01/08, snv79b. After booting under kmdb and setting moddebug=80000000 before booting the Solaris kernel (with help from Dan Mick), I was able to see mac_ether as the last thing loading, right after loading the e1000g driver. I cannot drop into kmdb via F1-A after it hangs. I''ve also

Specifying a USB Device to use USB2 Controller

Specifically, how do you define a USB device to use the EHCI controller in a guest xml file? To summarize my problem: I have 1 x USB1 device and 1 x USB2 device that I would like to use from within a Windows XP Guest. If I add the USB2 device (Avid M-box) to the guest machine via

kern/55094: Intel USB 2.0 unrecognized (partial patch provided)
Saw your post on -stable about this, and decided to take a look since I'm about to get my hands on a similar (82801DB) motherboard. If it's the USB 2.0 controller that's isn't being detected, shouldn't ehci by patched instead of uhci...? You may want to give the attached, completely untested, patch a try. I.e. it compiles on my box, but I don't have any hardware to

Booting to USB Pen Drive
I am trying to use Syslinux as my boot loader for a stripped down version of Knoppix (DSL) on a USB Pen Drive. I followed the instructions verbatim on http://rz-obrian.rz.uni-karlsruhe.de/knoppix-usb/knoppix-usb.html, but no luck. The system will start to boot to the USB, but gives a Kernel Panic. I will give all information that shows on the screen. After I select Boot from USB (which on my

Panics and freeze using age0

When the nic is under load, such trasferring big amount of data over gigabit connection (let's say some gigabyte backups), the computer hangs, sometimes with panic, sometimes freezing. Before that i was using an Intel nic with em0 driver and 7.0-Stable#2.. and that
