surf.ls
Hello, I am looking into description of surf.ls(spatial) and see under value $beta - the coefficients. When I use polynomial of degree 2 to fit surface I expect to get 4 coefficients: z = a_1 x^2 + a_2 xy + a_3 y^2 + a_4 What do beta really stand for and why do I get $beta vector of length 6? [Patch] Non-diegetic support for channel mapping 254
Hi Drew, Thakns for the patch. Here's some comments for now (not done reviewing): 1) You want to use isqrt32() rather than celt_sqrt(), since celt_sqrt() changes behaviour for fixed-point and provides no guarantee about rounding. 2) About these two lines: + if (nondiegetic_channels && 2 != nondiegetic_channels) + return OPUS_UNIMPLEMENTED; Why not just have the

Resolution of Groups on Mac OS X 10.4.8...
Hi, my Problem: I tried to limit the disk usage for certain samba users by means of group quotas. But when looking at the disk free space from the client the quota is not honoured. So I wrote a little script trying to find out the quota left using the "dfree command" setting. So far everything is fine, but now, as soon as the script is called (I placed some debug output

How to use --simple-bind-dn in samba-tool

I tried many syntaxes: cn=Administrator cn=Administrator at domain domain all with the Administrator password, but it always fail with: Failed to bind - LDAP error 49 LDAP_INVALID_CREDENTIALS - <Simple Bind Failed:

[Patch] Non-diegetic support for channel mapping 254
Hi Drew, I think your revised patch looks good overall. Just two comments: 1) In opus_multistream_encoder_init_impl(), rather than use a huge condition with two ORs for the return OPUS_BAD_ARG, maybe you can just multiple three separate if()s, each with its own condition (one of which will be entirely in an #ifdef). That should make the code easier to read. 2) In

what the role platform-pci play in comunication between HVM and domain0
Hi, Can someone interpret how HVM guest communicate with domain0, as i know, H VM can not use event channel directly, is the platform-pci offer a way to solve this? Please try to explain concretely, for example : 1.how does HVM send a event to domain0, how does domain0 catch this event, and assoicate it with a handler 2.the opposite direction, how does domain0 send event to HVM guest? Does it

chan_mobile: FXS
Hi all, Finally i got hold of some bt-dongles that seems p[retty stable, the asus-bt211. After installing them, i rebuild 11.3-rc1 added mobile.conf (bt-addres and blackberry address) and "mobile show devices" is showing me that the BT-link is up, and remains stable up. Seems good, but it looks like asterisk is seeing the BB as a trunk/FXO. However, i want to use the phone as an FXS.

What is the status and future of chan_mobile
I have been looking forward for months to get chan_mobile working. I am limited to using prepackaged Asterisk code, mostly Trixbox. I have recently heard that chan_mobile is considered 'beta' and there is no effort to move it into the main code of Asterisk. Not even for Asterisk 1.6. So what is the future for chan_mobile? It is easy to make a very strong case for a cellular trunk.
