Hi, We have got a new PRI card at one of our Office locations and now I need to install the the device on a remote server. Is there any way to know if the device is loaded already. When I give " cat /proc/zaptel/* " it returns the following. # cat /proc/zaptel/* Span 1: WCT1/0 "Wildcard TE122 Card 0" (MASTER) B8ZS/ESF RED IRQ misses: 2 1 WCT1/0/1

Problem with DAHDI
Hi again! I tried to attach two VoIP-phones to my new Asterisk 13.14.1 on a Banana PI with Armbian/Debian 9. First test was to call a test service that say the time. Works! Second test was to record my voice and play it again. Works! Third test was to call the other VoIP-phone. It does NOT work... :( Then I noticed that, by starting, Asterisk says the following messages: [Feb 15 18:42:54]

Dahdi 2.4.0 and Squeeze
Hi, I'm using a two-years old installation script for the first time on a Squeeze (linux 2.6.32) platform. For an unknown reason (might be an obvious one), Dahdi can't be loaded anymore. 1. First of all, it seems /dev/dahdi content was previously (ie in Lenny) owned by asterisk:asterisk (asterisk is run as asterisk). Now it is owned by root. Any clue about this ? 2. Secondly, I changed

error compiling dahdi for recent kernels
Seems like I post about this about once a year, when it's time to upgrade Fedora. I first got this error trying to compile a patched version of dahdi-linux-2.11.1; I noticed that there is now a dahdi-linux-complete-3.0.0+3.0.0, so I tried that one with the same result. If I compile it while running kernel-4.16.8-300.fc28.x86_64, it compiles fine, but when I try to compile it while running

chan_zap won't load after CVS update
I've just finished updating my Asterisk to the CVS version. Unfortunately, chan_zap won't load anymore. The hardware has not changed and the config files have not changed. I can re-install the two packages back and forth. The old one will still work. The new one won't. I tried updating to a brand-new zaptel and wcfxo modules, with no difference. This has got to be the most

I loaded the modules and I edited the config files according to <http://www.digium.com/downloads/hw_article>. I start ztcfg that tells me everything is alright. But when I start asterisk it tells me the error as posted in the subject. Why? I'm using kernel 2.6 could that be a
