Dahdi issues
Hello,
My first attempt to get dahdi running on 1.4.28... with a Rhino 8 port
modular card and a single FXS module.
Got the Rhino card installed and the machine sees it:

lost packets when bridging zap and iax
We have a machine with a TE410P in it acting as a client to route calls

client server
often the called can't hear the caller (both machines on public ip)

Really basic stuff :(
Hi :)
I've had all this working before, but I'm revisiting it, and in short, I
currently have huge problems receiving incoming calls. I've been trying
with both FWD and voiptalk.org. I'm running CVS HEAD of asterisk, zaptel
and libpri as of yesterday afternoon.
Would someone mind helping? :)
My machine is 10.0.0.1 on my LAN, but the ADSL router has 10.0.0.1 set

LVM thin volumes fstrim operation not supported
I still get the "the discard operation is not supported" fstrim error
when the LVs are set to "nopassdown"
Seems that when I use ext4 the fstrim reports that it worked but the
LVs Data% does not decrease after the fstrim. xfs just throws the
error.
I've also been looking at the output of lsblk -D
# lsblk -D

How to fix an incorrect storage pool?
I've created my storage pool incorrectly. I'm using LVM and I have a volume
group called vms-lvm.
When I look at it in virt-manager I see that the volumes it contains are
home, root and swap, so when I created the storage group in virt-manager I
must have specified something incorrectly.
Unfortunately I can't find a way to correct this. If I try to destroy
(stop) the storage group I

No translator path exists for channel type MGCP & Comfort noise support incomplete
ONLY ON MONDAY!
Well it used to work - calls between my aaln's that is. I moved from debain to redhat (same conf. files for asterisk) and this is what I get.. looks like several errors. errors I never got before. Also asterisk isn't observing the digits as I dial them like it used to however it still trys to route the call when I'm finished dialing. Anyone with a though on this?

exepath error in seqaln
Hi everyone,
I am using bio3d package for some sequence analysis because of its nice integrated MUSCLE execution. However, I have been encountering some errors while I was running seqaln function, which calls for installed MUSCLE program. In my case, I stored the MUSCLE program on the desktop with pathway of "./Desktop/muscle/src/muscle". I had no problem running MUSCLE directly from

Slackware 9.1 Install Help
Hi,
I'm trying to install Asterisk onto a fresh install of Slackware 9.1...
I've installed all packages in A, AP, D, E, F, K, L, N... So basically
what's needed for a text based system with development, networking,
docs, libraries.. No X-Windows, no games, no TCL/TEX etc.
Following the commands on the Asterisk website I checked out the CVS
source and started compiling... Zaptel and
