Problem routing call to fax machine on DAHDI FXS port
I am running Asterisk 1.6.2.17.2 with a Openvox A400 card with 2FXO/2FXS
modules. I'm trying to set-up things to route analog fax calls from a
FXO port to an analog fax machine on a FXS port on the same card.
Outgoing faxes work just fine. But incoming faces are routed to the
right DAHDI extension, but the call dropped right as the fax machine
rings for the first time. The fax machine

Problem getting TDM400P clone card to go off-hook and dial
I am having problems getting a Nicherons TDM400P wildcard clone to dial out.
Everything appears to be configured correctly, but although I see call
progress, it never seems to actually pick up the phone.
(The following is a test of 911 emergency, where I substitute 811 [repair
service] as the actual number dialed.)

E1 w/ TE420B EC
I keep getting a red alarm when trying to setup asterisk to use my
TE420B EC. I only have a blank context setup in my extensions.conf as
I haven't started to config that until I can clear this red alarm. I
don't have physical access to the server, so I can't go reseat the
modules/card/ethernet cable, though I have hands on location that have
done this a couple times

Dahdi issues
Hello,
My first attempt to get dahdi running on 1.4.28... with a Rhino 8 port
modular card and a single FXS module.
Got the Rhino card installed and the machine sees it:

DAHDI issues on 1.4.26.1
Hi,
Running 1.4.26.1 here. I have installed TE420B card in my server, and
followed the appropriate steps (as far as I know to configure it). This
TE420B is connected to a CLEC (T1s), so I am using pri_cpe as singalling
type.
When I dial out, I get this message:
Dec 4 11:37:31] WARNING[27983]: app_dial.c:1275 dial_exec_full: Unable to

ISDN E1, after electrical disconnected is not becoming UP, IRQ misses: 1
Dear All;
I am afraid from IRQ misses: 1
The ISDN E1 was working fine on the machine, the electrical disconnected and then the Red Allarm. I checked the dahdi and I found that I have to reinstall dahdi again and I did. But still not becoming UP.
The output of the cat /proc/dahdi/1 is following (I am afraid from the IRQ misses: 1, so if it is a problem what is the solution)?

dahdi-channels.conf -v- chan_dahdi.conf
Some recent issues I had with hardware seem to come back to not
understanding two very similarly named files:
/etc/asterisk/dahdi-channels.conf
/etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf
I've modified the chan_dahdi.conf to work now, but it would appear all I
needed to do was include dahdi-channels.conf in chan_dahdi.conf and the
problem would not have persisted? Is it me or is that a bit Monty
Python?

No Audio on pstn call
Hello,
I'm facing problem where as whenever there are incoming call from
pstn, there will be no audio coming in. User at the other end also
could not hear my voice. This happens few days back. Im using asterisk
1.6.1.2 with dahdi tool 2.2.0.
I thought it was time to upgrade, so upgraded to dahdi 2.2.1 and
asterisk 1.6.2.5. However, it does not help at all.
My current config as follows :-

ISDN Cause Code 47 Errors
We fairly recently switched service providers for our 4 PRI circuits. Since
that time, we started to notice some failed inbound calls. These calls
terminate with an ISDN cause code 47 'resource unavailble'. Most of the
time I see this error on the first or second channel on the second span in
a trunk group (This is the providers trunk group for hunting, not an
Asterisk trunk group). All

DAHDI, PRI and callerid
Hi,
I have just set up Asterisk to use an E1 line with a Digium card. And I
can call both in and out, but my outgoing line is all ways identifying
itself as the same number, and i can't even change it to another number
in the same number series.
Do anyone have some clue on how to fix this.
I'm using Asterisk 1.6.2.13, libpri 1.4.11.4 and DAHDI 2.4.0.

DAHDI CDR problem
Hello gang,
We just got MaBell to turn on our callerid. I tested the
capability with a southwest bell box and a plain phone, so I know the line
is sending the signal. I'm running Asterisk SVN-branch-1.4-r204834 using a
TDM400P card. Here is my dahdi_cfg -vv output:

debian/dahdi/zaphfc - Unable to receive TEI from network!
Hello,
The harddisk of my etch/bristuffed asterisk1.2 box finally died. I moved
the cheap (1397:2bd0) HFC-S card to a squeeze host (i686) and built
dahdi modules 2.3.0.1 using m-a. After zaptel->dahdi and asterisk
1.2->1.6 config adaptations, everything seems ok, except for the BRI
side, unable to bring layers 1/2 up.

Multiple Digium cards with one NFAS trunkgroup
Hi list,
Ive got a server with 6 ports on it (4+2 port card) we have a DS3 delivering
all voice DS1's to us. Carrier has a trunkgroup for the first 8 span (we
only have the first 6 plugged in right now). Everything works fine until we
fail the primary D channel (D's are on 24,48) the secondary then picks up
and outbound calls do not work, if we reboot Asterisk the D on 48 comes up

Asterisk and Mitel SX 200 Slip and Frame Errors causing Major Ala rms
We have integrated an Asterisk (TE110P) and a Mitel SX200. We usually get
over 500 frame errors and over a 500 slip errors per hour. When the errors
reach 1000 per hour the Mitel will take it's T1 card offline. At that point
no calls can be routed from the Asterisk server to the Mitel and the TE110P
reports a Yellow alarm.
What can be causing all these Frame and Slip errors? We have been
