issue with rescue_action_in_public! and testing 404 responses
Hello, I''m new to rails and I''m trying to wrap my heads around how to spec controllers using RSpec (using rails 3rc1 and rspec 2.0.0.beta.19). The problem I''ve run into is when I want to test that my controllers respond with a 404 for unfound records. Whenever I run the spec, the ActiveRecord::RecordNotFound exception is not caught by rails, causing the spec

RES: OpenSSH with slow login
I gueess it is not a DNS problem, because either using name or IP, I have always the problem. I guess the problem is that I am using ssh on inetd.conf (sshd -i), so It has to generate a key each time I start a session. What do you think ? -----Mensagem original----- De: Dan Kaminsky [mailto:dan at doxpara.com] Enviada em: segunda-feira, 10 de junho de 2002 20:51 Para: Jorge Cleber Teixeira de

producing a graph with glm poisson distributed respons count data and categorical independant variables
Hello, I am working on my thesis and can't really figure out how to produce a reasonable graph from the output from my glm., I could just give the R-output in my results and then discuss them, but it would be more interesting if I could visualise what is going on. My research is how bees react to different fieldmargins, for this I have 4 different types of field margin (A,B,C & D) and

Boxplots illustrating the fixed effects in a lme object
Hello all, I posted a similar question recently but I suspect that it was not well enough formulated to trigger any answers. So I try again: Is there a way to produce boxplots (or something similar) that uses the estimated fixed effects of an lme{nlme} object? When I want to know the mean, I use estimable{gmodels} together with an appropriate matrix. I did look for a similar tool to estimable in

Windows 10 acting like Win 9x client?
Hi, first of all: I know that samba 3 is EOL, still this important to me, since I have several machines running worldwide with CentOS5 with samba 3, which I can't change at the moment. I wanted to test if adding a Windows 10 machine to a NT4 style domain would still work. Joining the domain worked without problems, but than I ran into the problem that users with a roaming profile would only

TFTP-HPA beginner needs help
Thank you for the info Groeten. I have the TFTPD-HPA server address set to 192.168.1.9:69 I am unable to ping this address and I wonder if the server address should be the same as the network interface card (ethernet card) I am using. The files I want to upload are in /srv/tftpboot, so I'm not sure why the command cd /tmp was used. John At 03:21 PM 9/2/2015, Geert Stappers via Syslinux

Fitting binomial lmer-model, high deviance and low logLik
Hello I have a problem when fitting a mixed generalised linear model with the lmer-function in the Matrix package, version 0.98-7. I have a respons variable (sfox) that is 1 or 0, whether a roe deer fawn is killed or not by red fox. This is expected to be related to e.g. the density of red fox (roefoxratio) or other variables. In addition, we account for family effects by adding the mother
