Music on Hold on IP Phones with FreePBX 2.2.0
Hello everyone,
We just installed a new Trixbox 2.0 server and updated FreePBX to
2.2.0 from 2.2.0rc3.
We are having some problems with regards to Music on Hold on IP
phones. When we press the "Hold" button, the caller doesn't hear the
MOH sound. This functionality used to work with the older
Asterisk@Home installation on the same hardware and configuration.

Asterisk 12 AMI Hold Event
I'm trying to capture when a call is placed on and removed from being on hold through the AMI in Asterisk 12.3. In previous versions, the Hold event contained a 'Status' field which indicated if the call was going 'On' or 'Off' hold. However, in 12 not only am I not seeing the Status field, but I am not seeing any AMI Hold event that corresponds to removing the call

Updating asteriskcdrdb with uniqueid field from Master.csv, Master.csv.1....Master.csv.5 - Must I bring all files together first?
Hi Everyone,
Just noted that PBXinaFLASH failed me again on yet something else. The
uniqueid field didn't update on the asteriskcdrdb in the past few months but
it is available in the .csv files in /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv/*.csv
I have already re-did the asterisk-addons install with correct parameters to
include future calls "uniqueid" in the table (I have no clue why these

Junghanns QuadBri install help
Hi,
I have a Junghanns QuadBri installed and seems to be detected and working
correctly using the wcb4xxp driver
All ports are configured as TE
The problem is when I connect an ISDN line - the LED turns green and Dahdi
status shows Alarm OK
But when I try to make a call I get "All circuits are busy" cause 27

p.s. - if it comes to re-installing, you can backup all your settings with the freepbx backup utility and then restore so that you don't have to re-enter everything.

FreePBX, Asterisk and Twinkle - Testing a new setup
I am experimenting with Asterisk having downloaded and installed the
FreePBX i386 CentOS-6.3 based distro and updated it. The current
package level on this system is:
asterisk11-11.3.0-49_centos6

I am using twinkle-1.4.2-7.el6 as a softphone testing tool.

Dahdi and FreePBX
Perhaps this more belongs on the FreePBX list, but for the archives, this
is what I did to make it work:
chan_dahdi wants to read /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf
FreePBX, at least how I installed from source, seems to think I am still
running Zaptel. It created zapata_additional.conf when I added two ZAP
channels. For some unknown reason it did NOT create zapata.conf, although
the sample was

GURUs - How to monitor all MySQL actions on an Asterisk/FreePBX server?
Hi Guys,
This is something related and yet un-related to Asterisk. I have a
FreePBX/Asterisk server running and I want to trace everything that FreePBX
does to MySQL. Is there a verbose CLI to MySQL that I can pull up on
terminal and make configuration change to FreePBX and see it in real-time on
the terminal as to what is added to which MySQL table and where?

FreePBX 2.1.0: Manually rewriting extensions_additional.conf
Figuring I knew what I was doing (I didn't - surprise) I added a
totally unnecessary line in /etc/asterisk/extensions_additional.conf a
couple of days ago. Troubleshooting a dialing rule issue, I'm now
realizing that FreePBX is updating its database with the new settings
but is not rewriting/updating extensions_additional.conf with the
changes I'm making.
I've tried renaming the
