Adhearsion Install Fails.
Not strictly an Asterisk question. I've tried to install adhearsion on TWO relatively fresh CentOS 5.x systems, and I get this... [root at localhost rubygems-0.9.5]# gem install adhearsion Bulk updating Gem source index for: http://gems.rubyforge.org ERROR: While executing gem ... (Errno::ENOENT) No such file or directory - /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/adhearsion-0.7.7/bin/ahn The

Install Adhearsion on Debian
Hi, I'm giving Adhearsion a try on a Debian Squeeze. I read here (https://github.com/adhearsion/adhearsion/wiki/Getting-Started) that the command "sudo gem install adhearsion" should "automatically add the ahn command to your system". On mine I can't run ahn without specifying full path (/var/lib/gems/1.8/bin/ahn). Did I miss something ? Regards -------------- next

Introducing Sippy Cup: SIPp Load Testing Made Easy
Hello everyone, Recently we've been focusing quite heavily on making Adhearsion[0] faster. To do that, we needed a convenient way to test our Asterisk voice apps. The obvious tool in the Open Source world is SIPp[1]. SIPp is great! Though it's a little clumsy to use sometimes, especially if you're trying to use it to drive interactive calls like an IVR. So to make our own lives

kiax - iax2 softphone
Has anyone on here used kiax before? I am asking because I have it installed on several computers and have been able to get it to connect and register to my Asterisk box. I can even call between them and my SIP softphones. The problem I am having is this: when I use kiax to call someone else, they get some kind of background music playing while I am talking to them. I have called from kiax to

Feb 19th @12 noon EST: Voxeo's Tropo
Hi, When Jason Goecke talks, VoIP ideas become reality, and this makes my day. On this call we?ll talk about the newest features in Tropo and how to get started with telephony apps in the cloud without adding new infrastructure. Here's a chance to speak directly to Jason (or JSON as we now call him) to ask your questions about VoIP cloud apps. Tropo is a cloud communications platform that to

Polycom 501 issue with latest firmware : sluggish keys
Hi, I've upgraded a few Polycom 501 to SIP 2.0.3b (can't get 2.1.0 because of Polycom's firmware policy, but this is the "latest publicly available" from Polycom's web site). I've noticed that some keys get "sticky" though. Soft buttons for example (i.e. "end call") need to be pressed 2-3 times for them to react. I've downgraded to

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Do you use UML utility programs?
UML diagrams can be really helpful for explaining how a piece of code works (such as the diagrams in your klang project on github). The main reason I don't draw them is that I haven't found convenient tools to use which integrate well with my workflow. Doxygen produces class diagrams, but I would really like to have something which produces sequence diagrams (such as

Asterisk proxying a REFER
Hello, we are using Asterisk with Adhearsion as our application server, with another Asterisk box acting as the office PBX, where all office phones are registered. A REFER to transfer calls within the office results in the Adhearsion application call being dropped, because the leg between the PBX and the app server is terminated by the PBX following the REFER. Is there a way to configure
