3COM NBX SuperStack 3
Hi,
I've looked pretty wide on Google for this so I don't think it's been
asked before. Has anyone had experience integrating Asterisk with a 3COM
NBX system? The only way that I can see that looks possible is via the
3Com NBX ConneXtions H.323 product and then one of the H.323 Asterisk
channels.
Has anyone done this? Any pointers as to what to avoid or whether to
even attempt it?

Asterisk and Faxing
Hi All
I have been looking around and haven not been able to find a working example
I have a fresh/new install of Asterisk 1.6.2.0 with dahdi 2.2.1 and libpri 1.4.10.2
I use a sangoma A200 card so I am using wanpipe 3.4.7
If I use zaptel which I read I need for app_rxfax then asterisk crashes with segfaults on startup

Asterisk & 3com nbx 100 support
Does anybody know if the 3com NBX 100 phones will work with
Asterisk? The phones require a boot image to be sent either through
layer2 or layer3 before they will function properly after being powered
on each time.
Thanks.

FXS card dial digit wrong
Hello, everyone,
I am currently trying to get the asterisk server to talk with a 3COM NBX
with T1 connection. My asterisk server has a T100p, TDM20B, a couple of
sip phones. Now the sip phones are calling 3COM NBX phones fine,
however, the analog phone has problem when dialing the NBX phones. The
connection is established and the NBX auto-attendant picks up the call
however the NBX end says that

simulate data with binary outcome and correlated predictors
Hi,
I would like to simulate data with a binary outcome and a set of predictors that are correlated. I want to be able to fix the number of event (Y=1) vs. non-event (Y=0). Thus, I fix this and then simulate the predictors. I have 2 questions:
1. When the predictors are continuous, I can use mvrnorm(). However, if I have continuous, ordinal and binary predictors, I'm not sure how to simulate

3Com Phones
Greetings,
We are looking at installing a VoIP system with Asterisk and are
currently looking at the line of 3Com phones. Has anybody had
success with using the following phones? We need to buy a lot and we
don't want to end up with phones that don't work properly with asterisk.

Bug in rt() ? (PR#9422)
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

<<insert bug report here>>
Reproduced on Debian and Windows ...
On 2.4.x if you execute

set.seed(12345)
t.2 <- rt(n = 1000, df = 20, ncp = 0)

This appears to be due to the fact that in 2.4.x rt is now

qt with ncp>37.62
help(qt) states that:
"ncp non-centrality parameter delta; currently except for rt(), only for
abs(ncp) <= 37.62"
so I would expect that calling qt with non-centrality parameter exceeding
37.62 should fail, instead e.g. calling
> mapply(function(x) qt(p = 0.9, df = 55, ncp = x),35:45)
gives:

my cpanel can not shows up after running 'latest'.
Dear my friends...
I am still new in CentOS. I use CentOS 5 for my new server with cpanel.
I have installed the cpanel. The steps were:
1. cd /tmp
2. wget http://layer1.cpanel.net/latest
3. sh latest
The installation show a message that the cpanel installation
was completed.
But I can not see the cpanel login form on my server,

Bug Description:
Problem with the function pf() when the non-centrality

Peculiarity in non-central qchisq for ncp > 294.92 ...
Hello all,
Here's my query:
Running R 1.6.2 on FreeBSD 5.0, and on WinXP, and I find that the
following hangs the process:
dchisq(alpha=0.01, df=1, ncp=295)
but it does work for ncp < 294.92.
Is this general?
Best wishes to all,
Andrew

Noncentral t & F distributions
Dear List:
The square of the noncentral t-statistic with noncentrality parameter
\delta is a noncentral F with noncentrality parameter \lambda=\delta^2.
So, t^2_{\nu,\delta} = F_{1,\nu,\lambda=\delta^2}. Consequently, it
should follow that t^2_{1-\alpha/2,\nu,\delta} =
f_{1-alpha,1,\vu,\lambda=\delta^2}. However, this is not what is
happening with the following code. The central
