Rules by Mac Address
Hi,
I am using Shorewall in Adamantix. At the moment everything flow fine, my question is that how can I filter the access by computer mac address, I had read the documentation maybe I am ''stupid enough to spot the guide, if so please show me''.
What is the rules line if I want to

Not getting inbound CallerID name on Asterisk
We have an inbound PRI connected to our Cisco 3825 router which is then
passing the calls to Asterisk as SIP calls. We're getting the CallerID
number but not the CallerID name. We are seeing the name in the RPID field
with a SIP trace on the Asterisk box but don't understand why it's not
registering as the CallerID name.
Here is a link to pastebin with the Sip trace. In it you

Linux disk quota support
Dear Listmembers,
I installed samba-3.0.28 and configured --with-quotas, but I don't seem
to be getting quota support. Is there a description on how to do quotas
with samba? Is there something I should know about besides the
configuration
option --with-quotas?
Thank you,
Emre Brookes

Issue with DTMF Tones - Codec Issues
Topology:
PSTN<-T1 PRI->NEAX2400<-T1 PRI->Cisco 3825<-Ethernet-> Asterisk VoIP server
When I make a call to a VoIP user from the PSTN, the call gets routed
through the PBX, and Cisco. Because of that the DTMF tones are passed
inband, which I can hear on the VoIP end of the call. However, I have
one extension on asterisk set up so that I can check voice mail when

[LLVMdev] execution time of bytecode and native
Hello ,
I am compiling SPEC 2000 benchmarks with llvm .Got stuck with calculating "execution time" of all the .bc and native files.
The log for nightly test itself gives execution times but I am passing the bytecode files to my pass which gives another bytecode file.I have to calculate execution time of such bytecode and native files as well.If i simply do this:

Rsync and recursion protection with .svn folders
Dear rsync forum,
I'm writing to you regarding svn rsync problem.
Here is the premise. I am a web developer who needs to use svn.
Unfortunately I cannot install in on the production server. So what I have
done is that I copy the whole website folder from the server via ftp (I have
no other access) to my local machine using lftp.
At this stage I try to use sync the local copy folder with a

rsync ignores --force and will not delete non-empty directories from destination (HFS+ -> FAT32)
Hi. This is my first post to this list. I have searched the archives but
cannot find anything that touches on this particular issue.
My scenario: I am trying to rsync from an external HFS+ (USB2) to a
FAT32 external NAS drive, using rsync version 2.6.9 protocol version 29
(as supplied with Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.11). The data being synced is MP3
music files and JPGs.
The command I am issuing

Hello Everybody,
I was searching for an answer myself for quite some time without success, so
I hope somebody can clarify...I use rsync to sync webcontent from one server
to another.
Apache-details:
* Apache runs as nobody:nogroup.
* Source-Server-Rights htdocs: The rsync-user gains access via o+rx
* Destination-Server-Rights htdocs: The rsync-user is in the group
'nogroup', gains

[LLVMdev] execution time of bytecode and native
Hello All,
Thanks for the reply.I can generate the reports by compiling Spec through llvm, but that couldn't resolve my problem.
I m trying to determine execution time for the bytecode and native files , which are obtained as a result of running my pass over the original bytecode .I am running these experiments on spec benchmark.
In SPEC we have command line tools such as runspec where
