(no subject)
Ok I have a queue that is working perfectly.
The problem is when one of the agents is outside the building on an
external phone line (say a cell phone). My telco hangs up on the call .
I think the telco is hanging up on these calls because there is no CID
attached. (I know my telco wont connect calls without ANI, so that is
what it is my assumption)
So first I need to prove my assumption

Asterisks, Sip to Local PRI/PTSN issue
Alright I've been having an issue when trying to dial out locally when
coming from SIP. This used to work no problem, now it doesn't. Now the
local PRI to Bell Is working fine I have calls coming in and out of it
constantly right now. BUT if I try and make a local call from SIP (from
X-Lite or one of our Linksys SPA2102s) It fails every time with errors
like these

Caller ID and DNIS Problems (Non-Pri T1)
I am trying to receive both CID and DNIS from the telco through a
non-pri T1. Currently I have the T1 setup and operational both outbound
and inbound calls are completed as should be expected. The calls came
in and were placed in the context specified in zapata.conf on exten =>
s,1.
I have requested that the telco provide callerid (they call it ANI)
along with 10 digit dnis for my 800

D4 AMI - No Caller ID
I currently have Asterisk deployed in my office with a TE411P. On the first port of this card is a T1 from the telco setup for D4 AMI. Unfortunately, I'm not receiving caller ID on inbound calls from this line. The caller ID information is arriving in the form *ANI*DNIS*. In zapata.conf, I have signalling set to em_w. The DNIS always arrives correctly, but I'm never receiving the ANI

Set caller ID for outgoing PRI calls
Hallo!
Finally we have E1 PRI connected to our Asterisk box. Now I have one
question.
My internal extensions (_XXX) are SIP phones connected to Asterisk. Our
telco routes some public numbers (_71602XX and others) to our Asterisk
via E1. Some internal extensions can be reached from outside using
public numbers (e.g. 7160234 -> 200), and some others cannot. Everyone
can call outside

outbound caller ID
Hi,
I would like to know if one can set the outgoing
caller ID within Asterisk when calls are going out
through:
1) an analog POTS line (I suppose not)
2) a telco BRI line (I don't think so)
3) a telco PRI line (maybe)
4) a voip provider (surely)
Thanks,
Vieri

I have the below script that doesn't seem to be working. I don't know if
I have something in the script wrong that I am just missing. Or if I
don't have the php.ini set correctly for emailing

outbound caller ID problem on PRI
I can't seem to hide and/or set my caller ID from *.
I'm using a quite recent (three weeks or so) CVS with an E400P card.
I have pridialplan=unknown in zapata.conf and I'm based in the UK.
The relevant bit of pri debug looks like this (reformatted to fit 80
char width):
> Calling Number (len= 4) [ Ext: 0
> TON: Unknown Number Type (0)

SPA-3000 caller ID and KPN
Hi list,
Hopefully, some of our Dutch members can help with this one. I'm also
based in the Netherlands and am using a Sipura (Linksys) SPA-3000
(firmware v3.1.10(GWd)) as a PSTN to VoIP gateway for my Asterisk test
system. It works fine, except that the Called ID (CID) is not working.
I'm aware that KPN (our local telco) requires a separate subscription
to activate CID on POTS

Caller ID (name) - where does it come from?
Hi Folks, having an issue with outbound calls through a VOIP provider. Calls
get sent out with the CallerID(number), but where does callerID(name) come
from? Apparently not from provider, as we are seeing different (sometime
missing) names on inbound calls, different than what we have configured.
Apparently this comes from some telco database somewhere? Numbers were
ported from a wired-telco.

Caller Id problem
Dear List,
My problem is that the incoming Caller Id is not displayed on the local analog
phones (connected to a TDM400 card).
I receive the CID correctly from my telco, but when I place the call to the
internal analog line, the CID is not propagated.
An interesting point: when I try to place a new call to an already bridged line,
I see the second call with the CID on the analog phone. The

Outbound Caller ID on PRI
We have just had an ISDN PRI service commissioned here in AU (using Powertel
as provider). I have called them and ensured that we have the ability to set
Caller ID on our service to any number in our 100 number block, and I have
been assured that everything is OK from their end (unlikely). Every time I
drop a sample.call in to /var/spool/asterisk/outgoing with the Callerid:
option set, the

SIP Issue
Alright I have a SIP phone located off premises with a very annoying
issue.
Well I say a sip phone it is actually two phones hooked to a Cisco Spa

Each phone being a different line/extension.
Alright either line can ALWAYS make outbound calls no issue. The problem
is on the Inbound side. I'm completely stumped as

caller id problem
I'm having a weird problem with CallerIDs and I can't tell if it is a
problem with Asterisk, the telco, or the VOIP provider I'm using.
Basically, I am using Asterisk as a proxy for my cell phone. People call
in and the call gets forwarded to my personal number. The feature on my
phone allows for unlimited phone calls from one number, any time, for
$7/month, so I'm saving a

Dutch (DTMF) caller-ID
Hey all,
I recently noticed that DTMF caller-ID was implemented in CVS, so
I requested the service from my telco (the Dutch KPN) and tried to get
it going in Asterisk (current CVS), without success so far.
This system has 1 X100P, 2 TDM400P's with 4 FXS-modules each and 2
HFC-PCI ISDN-cards (zaphfc-driver) in it. The analog line I'm
trying to get caller-ID working on is obviously on the

Bell Canada Caller-ID
Has anyone gotten CID from Bell Canada to work properly with *?
We have our * box down at our datacentre in St Louis, and whenever we
call it from a Bell Canada Telephone line, all we see is '' for the CID.
I did some digging on google and the mailing lists and couldn't find
anything pertaining directly to Bell-Canada and * CID, but didn't find
much. I did however find :

Please help me out.

Caller ID
We do not get caller ID (name) on our telco lines.
However we have a few single line extensions with consumer type handsets
that ring at odd hours with "Asterisk" before the phone is picked up, and
"Out of Area" after it is picked up.
I have read that "Asterisk" is what is reported by Asterisk for 0 length
caller ID number.
But since we don't
