Help with SUSE 10.2 and Sangoma A104D
Hi all, as good?
I try to install asterisk-1.2.14, zaptel-1.2.12,libpri-1.2.4,addons-1.2.5 ,
sounds-1.2.1 and wanpipe-2.3.4-3 and hwec-utils-beta4-2.3.4
But it is not compiling drivers of the Sangoma, why udev's for board in
"/dev/zap"(1-31, channel, ctl, pseudo, timer) is not created. But when I
install a board TE110P Digium, udev's is created and asterisk functions
perfectly. : )

original review can be found at:

It's now been a month since I finished my last round of tests with the
Sangoma A104u board in Asterisk. I have had a lot of conversations with the
guys at Sangoma about how my system runs so that they could set up their
test systems to try to

Sangoma A104d / overlapdial=yes / dial with audio one-way issue
Hi,
I am facing an audio-problem with the dial application and I (!) think,
that it is connected to the dahdi parameter "overlapdial=yes". Sangoma
support does not see any connection between this. But when enabling this
option I face with some(!) dial-partners a audio one-way issue (the
called party can not be heard). Only using PSTNS (germany e1 trunk) - no
voip.
Is there any

Sangoma Wanpipe installation problems
I'm trying to install wanpipe on my new 2.6.21-2-amd64 core 2 duo
machine (Debian's amd64 works with EMT64 too) to run Asterisk. I'm
getting compilation errors when trying to install the wanpipe utilities.
We are intending to use a Sangoma A102 card for ISDN30 in the UK.
I've tried both the current stable 2.3.4-10 release and the new
wanpipe-3.1.3 beta release of wanpipe.

Sangoma A104d and Adtran 850 problems
I have a system that I am trying to get a port on a Sangoma A104d card
connected to an Adtran 850 with 5 FXS modules and 1 FXO module.
A problem I am having is figuring out what cable should be used from the
port on the Sangoma to the JP2 port on the Adtran. Tried was a cross-over T1
(1->4, 2->5, 4->1, 5->2) as well as a straight T1 (1->1, 2->2, 4->4, 5->5).
Neither one

Digium vs. Sangoma: Performance
Hello,
Several people asked to get a hold of the stats I used to determine that the
Sangoma T1/E1 boards performed better in our real-world tests than the
Digium boards. We've decided to post our results after confirming them over
the past month of operations.
Here is a link to the last two reviews I wrote about Sangoma with Asterisk:

Connection astrisk to a RAS (portmaster)
Here's my planed setup :
PRI from telco <--> (port 1 of A104d) * (port 2 of A104d) <--> PM3
The PM3, for those who don't know is lucent's portmaster RAS dial-up router.
I had setup asterisk, zaptel, libpri, wanpipe (as I have sangoma's cards).
In wancfg, I have port 1 as TDM_VOICE, with hardware echo on, span 1. Port 2
is TDM_VOICE, without hw echo, Clock as

EuroISDN and Sangoma Card
Hi List,
Just a little question about a notice from asterisk I don't understand:
Here is what I have as soon as I place a call on a E1 line with an a104D
Sangoma Card ( asterisk 1.2.9.1 ) :
Jun 26 18:57:24 NOTICE[16489] channel.c: Don't know what to do with
control frame 15
Does Anyone has a clue of how to get rid of that ?
May it's because I use the HDLC decoding in hardware ?

Re: Digium TE407P vs. Sangoma A104d
Hi,
Recommending to go Digium because of an OpenBSD issue with the
Sangoma A104D is quite funny to say the least since neither
is the TE407P supported in BSD by Digium. So the recommendation is
useless to the person who originally requested for a comparison
between the two products.
If someone wanted to send back the A104D, he could have taken
advantage of Sangoma's 30 day money back

Sangoma Wanpipe 2.3.4-3 compilation fails un der FC2 with Zaptel 1.0.9.2
Thanks for replying. It's there, /usr/src/zaptel and it's valid. The script
checks for its existence before compiling. The only thing that's unusual
about this zaptel is that it is patched to support KB2 echo can.
Gavin: Thanks, already cc'd Sangoma support. Hope they are working today!

odd T1 issue
Howdy,
Just installed a new switch in a new location (Ubuntu, 2.6.24-24 kernel,
zaptel 1.4.12.1 built from source, libpri-1.4.10.1 built from source,
asterisk 1.4.26 built from source, wanpipe 3.5.4 built from source,
Sangoma A104d with firmware that is probably a year old).
I plugged in an RBS T1, ESF, B8ZS, wink start, and MF signalling. I stuck
with the defaults that the wanpipe build

Trying out a new version with sangoma card
Hi !
We curently have a centos 5 / asterisk 1.4 server that we have some DTMF
problems with. It has a Sangoma A104d card and only port one is used to
connect to the PSTN. Port 2 is conencted via a cross-over cable to a RAS for
modem access and port 3 is connected for data communication via PPP.
Now, I want to freshen this setup to something newer. So I installed a
Scientific Linux 6 server,

Sangoma Wanpipe Driver Compile for DAHDI Failure
I'm trying to get my Sangoma B600 working with Asterisk 1.6.1 and DAHDI 2.2.
I've tried running ./Setup dahdi (and with --64-bit_4GB flag, running amd64)
and the compile fails with this for many versions of the driver (incl.

CVS HEAD HDLC Abort on a TE405P PRI
I just upgraded my asterisk install from january 2005 CVS HEAD to current CVS
HEAD :
* zaptel
* libpri
* asterisk
My asterisk have one TE405P with one span (the clock source) pluged into a
telco PRI E1, a second span is a PRI E1 to another PBX and the third one is a
T1 to a rhino channel bank.
Everything went smoothly except that the two PRI span restart every ten seconds
after some HDLC
