chan_iax2.c Ignoring Port For Now
Hello,
I have searched the lists, and have seen this message posted numerous
times, however there never seem to be any replies to it.
I was curious if anyone had figured out the WARNING:
File chan_iax2.c, Line 5466 (set_config): Ignoring port for now
Everything seems to work just fine, however when I try to change iax.conf
port to 4569 it doesn't seem to like that either.
Thanks,
Brent

asterisk server crashing
I've been running an asterisk server for several months on my RedHat 9
box. Today I decided to update some of the glibc packages on my box and
upgrade it to the latest asterisk cvs as well. I can start the asterisk
server without incident. I can place a call in from the outside and it
takes the call fine; however as soon as I hangup, the server appears to
just crash. I have no idea

New TDM400P no dialtone
Hello,
Does anyone know what may be causing this? Asterisk was built from cvs
tonight. Ztcfg also says us is an invalid tone zone. Anyone got some
information on what this is, why is it happening, and possibly some
solutions?

installing asterisk for Ubuntu Synaptic
I have an Ubuntu system and went into Synaptic and checked asterisk for
installation. Once installed, I started it with /usr/sbin/asterisk -vvvgc
and got the following output with several errors and notices. Do I need to
do more or are these ok? I expected to have some conf files in
/etc/asterisk but there is nothing there.
Thanks!

X100P question
I have just started developing asterisk, and am trying to start simple. I
have a X100P device and an S100U device. I am trying to use the examples
provided, where I add a few lines to the /etc/zaptel.conf,
/etc/asterisk/zapata.conf, and /etc/asterisk/extensions.conf so that I may
connect an analog line to the X100P and an analog phone to the S100U. When
I dial the analog line, it should ring

Office to Office via IAX2 problems
I'm going to try and lay out all the relevant information I have here
in this one post. I can provide more info if necessary.
ISSUE 1:
Office A routinely looses connection to Office B. When typing IAX2
Show Peers, it will show as Unreachable. I issue IAX2 Reload and it
will work again for 1-3 days (haven't narrowed the time down yet). My
theory is that the DSL at Office2 is changing
