[WoW + ATI HD 3850 + Hardy] Text problem
Hello, I've update my Ubuntu Gutsy to Hardy (7.10 -> 8.04) and Wine 0.9.somthing to wine-1.0-rc4. I've the lastest ATI proprietary driver installed. Before, I could run WoW without any problem in OpenGL except the buggy minimap when I entered in a closed area map (a tavern, or a cavern, etc.), the minimap became blank... (config: Gutsy, Wine 0.9.6, ATI Catalyst 8.1). Now, when I

[LLVMdev] Doubts about register interferences in register allocators
Hello to all. I'm trying to implement a simple register allocator using graph colouring (I know, everyone has already done that :-)) and I'm also using LLVM 3.4 from master branch. The algorithm I'm using is based on the one described on the "Modern Compiler Implementation in C". My implementation is totally experimental and doesn't aim to be fast, eficient or even

Native bridging analog phones trouble DAHDI channels.
I own a TDM2400 board, with three FXO modules and one FXS. I'am having trouble with analog sip phones, from two different equipment. (Grandstream GXW-4024 192.168.0.105, and Audiocodes MP202), sometimes when I am calling someone, then I press flash, and then call someone else, both calls stay connected after I hang up. Is r2u at 3.4.1? [branch about handling package collisions under Ubuntu/Debian]
This is definitely tangential to the list: I'm on Ubuntu (22.04.2 LTS) not Debian and I'm sure this is about issues in the Ubuntu package management on my machine, R is only revealing them. The original subject line came from me wondering if my going over to the r2u repository would solve the problem.? However, as I think Dirk said, that's only really likely to be answered by trying

r bug (?) display of data
Hi R Fans, I stumbled across a strange (I think) bug in R 2.9.1. I have read in a data file with 5934 rows and 9 columns with the commands: daten = data.frame(read.table("C:/fussball.dat",header=TRUE)) Then I needed a subset of the data file: newd = daten[daten[,1]!=daten[,2],] --> two values do not meet the logical specification and are dropped. The strange thing about it:

Help debugging a possible SIP channel leak in 11.17.0, possible race condition
Have you tried Asterisk 13? The bridging mechanism has been completely rewritten on Asterisk 12, so there's no longer channel masquerading and zombie channels. Might be worth a try. 2015-04-07 20:33 GMT-03:00 Alex Villac??s Lasso <a_villacis at palosanto.com>: > El 07/04/15 a las 17:38, Alex Villac??s Lasso escribi?: > > I am trying to collect enough information about an

Network interference? Settings?
I have a problem. I've purchased 2 different brand NAS devices that both use Samba in some form as their "sharing" mechanism. When I attach them to the LAN I get dreadful speed. To the tune of under 3.5GB per hour transfers. I've even done tests on the same subnet. Two Windows servers on that vlan can move files at great speeds. Map one of them to the NAS and it crawls. I recall

windows/fonts files interference (bug?)
Hello. I'm running wine-1.3.12 on Fedora 14 and I found out that, since the last update, wine has issues when additional .ttf files are put in windows/fonts directory - wine picks them as a default font for GUI rendering. I tried putting in/out several different ttf files, and the results were mixed. Sometimes the font was picked. Sometimes ignored. And sometimes it caused wine to miss the

Record call without caller interference
Hello list, can a conversation be recorded without the caller or callee having to press some combination that is defined in features.conf ?? Like in queues.conf you have the ability to record a conversation with MixMonitor when the caller is connected to an agent/member of the queue. Can this auto-recording also be implied on normal Dial(something) ?? So that when the call is picked up (and

KVM guest creation - no manual interference
Hi I've looking for a way to create KVM virtual machines completely automated without the need to interact with guest operating system during installation. With ubuntu-vm-builder is possible create the guest, list packages to be installed and scripts to be run. Is there a way to do something like it with libvirt? wine/problem with sound interference
Hi! Using wine 20000109 I notice a slightly annoying problem with wine when trying to launch Forte Agent: As long as any sound is played under linux, Forte Agent (or perhaps any other windows program?) doesn't start. I have to stop all sound and then wine launches Forte Agent. Why is that so, and is there a command line parameter to solve that issue? Thanks Peter(sen)

What to check for when there are sound interference using SIP channels only? standard debug methods?
Hi Everyone, I ocassionally hear echo, static, and garbled voice when calling extension to extension between two office (different geographic locations connected using OpenVPN - 1 with DSL and other with T1 - 1500 KM apart). I am guessing it's a bandwidth or jitter issue that is giving me faint problem in playback of prompts when I call in to an echo() test. However, to prove my theory I need

paravirtualized vs HVM disk interference (85% vs 15%)
Hi, We have found that exist a huge degradation in performance when doing I/O to a disk images contained in single files from a paravirtualized domain and from an HVM at the same time. The problem was found in a Xen box with Fedora 8 x86_64 binaries installed (Xen 3.1.0 + dom0 Linux 2.6.21). The test hardware was a rack mounted server with two 2.66 Ghz Xeon X5355 (4 cores each one, 128 Kb L1
