Hi, I'm looking for a good codec to use on a personal VoIP setup. It is strictly for my personal use, I'll never resell it, make money or it, or whatever. It seems a free personal-use G729 codec is available as a WIN32 library. I find it puzzling that at the same time one has to pay license fees to use it under Linux, even non-commercially. A client used to use BT isdn30 and ported the numbers to telewest several years ago. Now, the client moved to adept telecom. I *think* adept resells BT products. We got new numbers from adept (bt?) and the old pbx on the telewest lines forwards the calls to the new numbers. On the adept line I got a digium card in an opteron supermicro server. ztcfg gives me over 99.99 pretty much all the time.

Hi, Using 1.4.26.1 & DAHDI 2.2.0.2, FSK VMWI devices off a TDM840 work fine. With 1.6.1.[45] & same DAHDI, instead of the FSK spill I get a line polarity reversal. Stutter dialtone is generated as expected. Has anyone else seen this? Is there anything special I need to do for 1.6.1 to make FSK MWI work? Thanks, --Barry
