I am current running on a production system
zaptel 1.4.12.1
libxpri 1.4.1
asterisk 1.4.25
The above configuration works.
I tried to update to dahdi 2.2.0, libpri 1.4.7 and asterisk 1.4.25
This did not work. calls came in but not out. I dropped back to the
initial configuration.
Today, I dried only updating libpri on the original configuration.

Asterisk 10/1.6.1 and Dahdi/Libpri compatilities in BRI /PtmP
Hi,
After an upgrade, I discovered yesterday strange things I would like
to share here.
Basically, I'me comparing platforms:
The first one is a 2.6.26 (Debian Lenny) platform, with Asterisk
1.6.1.18, Libpri 1.4.10.2, Dahdi revision 8853 (must be between 2.3
and 2.5, I think).
The second one is a 2.6.32 (Debian Squeeze) platform, with Asterisk
10.5.1, Libpri 1.4.12, Dahdi 2.6.1.
Both are

DAHDI and B410P (BRI)
Hi all,
I am having trouble setting the signalling method for the B410P using
DAHDI. Asterisk complains that it has never heard of 'bri_cpe' or
'bri_net' - but it doesn't mind having 'pri_cpe' etc.

Proper install order for Asterisk and it's related packages..
I've read a lot of conflicting information on this around the web, and
wanted to see if I could get some thoughts for any of you..
What's the proper (or best, etc) build order for install Asterisk and
it's needed libraries. Most often I see 1. Zaptel / Dahdi 2. libpri
3. Asterisk. However, I've see several references to installing
libpri before zaptel is installed.

How to install and configure Dahdi from Debian Stretch repo ?
Hello,
After all these years installing from source, I'm giving Dahdi package
installation a try on a recent Stretch box.
Google over the web, I didn't find too many doc on this topic.
1. Is this one [1] up-to-date ?
Reading Stretch I would say a single asterisk-dahdi would be enough to
install asterisk dahdi and libpri.
2. On my box, the following fails. What would you suggest ?

Problem running Dahdi
Hi,
I've been building a new Asterisk server to replace my previous one, all
using the latest 1.4.x downloads from asterisk.org.
I can't even get to the point where dahdi works. I have libpri, dahdi and
dahdi-tools compiled and installed. I have no hardware on that new server,
but I am installing Dahdi for timing source for meetme.
Everything compiles seemingly well, but this is

Is anybody else using the following combination:
* a TE410P card (wct4xxp driver)
* a BT ISDN connection
* DAHDI 2.3.0.1
* Asterisk 1.6.2.9
I'm trying to configure a new box to replace a legacy system (same hardware;
some old version of Asterisk with Zaptel; works lovely but hopelessly
out-of-date) and not having much joy. Specifically, I couldn't get it to

B410P, dahdi in TE, PtmP mode ?
Hi,
I've read that the new dahdi channel supporting B410P doesn't support PtmP
when in NT mode.
Does it support PtmP when in TE mode ?
Cheers

Commands to upgrade to latest Libpri? can I upgrade without touching Asterisk?
Hi Guys,
I have to upgrade to latest Libpri 1.4.10.2 due to an existing bug in the
current 1.4.10 version. I am running Asterisk 1.4.x (in fact it is a
PBXinaFLASH system).
How can I upgrade to the latest Libpri? Do I need to re-install Asterisk?
Won't that break the box?
Can I simply do this to upgrade:
*rm /usr/src/libpri/*.**
*rm -rf /usr/src/libpri/**
Download the new libpri and put

Junghanns QuadBRi not really recognized in Dahdi
Hi,
I'm using Asterisk 1.6.1.18 with latest Dahdi Linux and Tools (rev 8854) and
libpri 1.4.10.2.
During installation, I'm facing this :
# dahdi_genconf -v system
Default parameters from /etc/dahdi/genconf_parameters
Empty configuration -- no spans
Of course, I've got span descriptions in /etc/dahdi/genconf_parameters :

Dahdi - Which process to swap from Octo to QuadBRI ?
Hi,
I'll soon replace a Junghanns OctoBRI with a Junghanns QuadBRI.
As both use wcb4xxp driver (dahdi 2.3.0, libpri 1.4.10.2 and asterisk
1.6.1), I'm planning to proceed this way :
1. Edit 2 versions of files /etc/dahdi/system.conf and
/etc/asterisk/dahdi-channels.conf (one for each card).
2. Link current system.conf and dahdi-channels.conf to QuadBRI files.
3. Power PC off
4. Swap cards
