Kernel panic w/ DAHDI 2.x/Digium TE220B
I've seen this consistently on three systems, with three different
cards, and multiple versions of DAHDI. At first I thought the issue
only occurred on newer, Nehalem-based, systems, but I reproduced it on
a Core 2 Duo box as well. I've tested with dahdi-linux 2.2.0.2, dadhi-
linux-complete 2.0.0+2.0.0, 2.1.0.2+2.1.0.2, and 2.2.0.2+2.2.0. The
card is a Digium TE220B which uses the

NUMA split mode?
Hi,
HP says that what they call "NUMA split mode" should be disabled in the
BIOS of the Z800 workstation when running Linux. They are reasoning
that Linux kernels do not support this feature and even might not boot
if it?s enabled.
Since it apparently was years ago since they made this statement, I?m
wondering if I should still leave this feature disabled or not. More

Xen 3.2 with Ubuntu 8.04 (64-Bit) on Intel Nehalem (i7)
Hallo list,
i am testing a Dell M610 with two quadcore Intel Nehalem CPUs at the
moment, so with Hyper-Threading 16 cores in total. As mentioned in the
subject I am using Ubuntu 8.04 64Bit and Xen 3.2 from Ubuntu package.
During these tests I hit on some issues, which are not clear to me. I
would be thankful for any comments/hints/thoughts on the following topics:

Xen 3.4.2 DomU Network Issues
I''ve got a new system with Dual Quad Core Intel E5520 processors and
Intel 82576 NICs built on the motherboard (this is a Supermicro Nehalem
based blade). I''m running Xen 3.4.2, but I''ve also tried 3.4.1 and had
the same problem.
Dom0''s network works flawlessly, but the DomU systems all have network
issues. Whenever they transmit large packets, it is as if

Xen on Intel i7 Nehalem?
Hello,
i´ve got a new Intel Nehalem server with an i7-920 CPU.
I installed a Debian Lenny OS ...
Now, i cannot find any images for hypervisor or kernel that seem to be runable on that hardware.
:-O
All of that is AMD:

ISDN- E1 PRI module in network side signaling
Hello everyone.
I am looking for a E1 PRI card which supports network side signaling not
CPE. The main idea is to connect an plain old E1 compliant PBX which
doesn't have an VoIP module to the newly created VoIP infrastructure.
Could we use a Digium TE122P or something other to resolve this situation?
Thanks in advance.

server platform is also an HP Server; the server is an HP ML350 G4,
and the Tape drive is a HP Storage Works Ultrium 448 - 1U

HP Ultrium documentation says two drivers should be automatically

Hardware Compatibility HP Proliant - Sangoma PCI Express
Hi to all, I am in the process of setup a new asterisk server, I think in
the HP Proliant ML350 G6 Server (aprox. 100 SIP Users), and Sangoma A102DE

The specs of the Proliant (HP PART 487932-001) about PCI are the next.

1 ( 1 ) x PCI Express 2.0 x8 ( x8 mode ) ,

slip r errors nortel switch
I am connected with 5ess to a nortel switch. Running dahdi 2.1.04 and
libpri 1.4.7 and asterisk 1.4.22
Everything is working for a short time.
The other side reports back to me that he is getting slip-r errors from
the TE122P card.
After to many errors (like 11) the d channel shuts down on their side.
Any idea what to do about this?
I have not ran into it before.
